Chapter 20: Festival

(Meter's POV) 

Now is the start of the School Festival that we are all waiting and preparing for. This morning we will have the school parade. The route will be the whole district. Everyone is now full prepared. Some are in their own costume. The theme of the festival is Medieval Time, where we adapt different time of different places in the world. We have the French, English, Spanish and of course Japanese era were wars and disputes are the image of the world but we make it in a modern way. All the classes are all in the line, while waiting for us the Empresses and Emperors to lead the way. Of course, I have a special surprise for it.

Zap! I heard the door opens.

"Senpai! We are ready!" I turn to face the familiar voice.

"Ok, let's go."

"Wow! Senpai, you look beautiful on your dress!" Ayaka said excitedly. I am wearing an off shoulder dress, and a wide brim hat that match my dress, just like the old Spanish woman, while Ayaka was wearing a fuchsia pink junihitoe which perfectly fit for her. I went at the ground floor where everyone was waiting. I saw the remaining guys were waiting for us. As for Kannon, she was wearing a princess like dress in the fairy tales with a clean bum while Kaname was wearing a soldier type dress in high leather boots. Then, Ritsu was wearing Korean dress for queen with her matching huge hair dress while Kohei was wearing the king dress to match her. Yuji was wearing also a kimono to match Ayaka. As for Alexis, she was wearing a white cocktail dress like a mini wedding dress while Jiro was wearing a tailed coat matching Alexis. Lastly as for Sho who is wearing an emperor's dress in old Spanish era.

(Alexis' POV) 

I know this is for the festival, but isn't it too absurd? Why everyone does have its own partner? I look like a bride in this mini wedding dress. I look at everyone who is at his or her serious expressions.

"So, now that we all ready, let's start it already. Meter senpai and Sho senpai are partners so they take the first chariot. Kannon senpai and Kaname senpai take the second chariot. Ritsu senpai and Kohei senpai take the last chariot. While the four of us take the couple horses infront." Yes people, we are infront of them, so we are riding in tandem with our, of course, respected partners. The boys mount first to help us. I seat sideways infront of Jiro the same with Ayaka infront of Yuji.

"Jiro, lead the way, please." Meter senpai commanded.

(Jiro's POV) 

Why am I sweating cold all of a sudden? In addition, my heart is pounding so hard the moment me and Alexis is so close, even right now. Thump...thump...thump...thump.

"Jiro, lead the way, please." I heard Meter-nee-chan command us to start the parade. If I know this is her plan, I should've accept this assignment of hers. Wait, this is also a perfect plan for the other couples. Oh, well. I look at Yuji and give him the signal to start. I kick at the horse's side and he start to trot. I hold the rein tightly while Alexis is leaning on me. There so many people waiting for us outside the school. Most of them are students from different school. Maybe, they want to see us up close. Are we that famous yet? Well, I don't give a damn about that. I was just force to, you know.

"Ah! I love you Emperors!" Group of girls are shouting in the street as if they are going to faint just a small sight of our face. What the hell? Even the other people are shouting our names in the street. I don't get these people, why do they have to waste their time just to see us? Oh well that's the punishment of being an Emperor of Seika U.

"I don't know that you are even famous outside the school." She said while waving her hands to the people in the street just like giving her appreciation to them.
