Chapter 3: Rivalry

"What did you say?"

"Now I get your attention." That one got me. I can't believe that there is someone has keen observation. This may get bad.

"I already knew him. Meter senpai did."

(Jiro's POV) 

She is the girl I bumped earlier. So were on the same class. Great, that was so great. Just kidding. Of all class why does she have to be here? I can't help myself but to stare at her every minute. What does she have that keeps bothering me? I can't even concentrate to the teacher and it's giving me creeps. I was watching her intimately, but our eyes never met. As I looked at her carefully her features were so defined now. She's very pretty. Her long black straight hair was perfect to her looks. Is that even natural? I just thought. Her body was slightly skinny. And her skin was pale. She has long eyelashes that made her eyes look fierce but soft, and especially those beautiful lips. What does it tastes like? Argh! Jiro what are talking about? Get those thoughts out of your mind. She sensed that I was staring at her and that give her the way but to look at me. But she suddenly looked away. What do you expect, she might be thinking badly about me. That's bad to my reputation. I should stop this early until it will go to something else that I can't control, maybe dangerous. I look at her direction again and she was taking a conversation to Ayaka. I felt some comfort and let her be.

(Alexis' POV) 

Morning classes are through and lunch break is coming through. I packed my things inside my bag and I'm ready. I get up from my sit and Ayaka-san stood up too. I tried to ask her where I can eat, because she's so far I know here.

"Uhmm, Ayaka-san can I ask you something?"

"Alright, what is it?"

"Where can I find the cafeteria?"

"Ah, don't worry about it. You can come with us. Meter senpai already told me."

"What?"

"Come on let's go, I will introduce to you to other senpais."

"What are you talking about?" She grabs my hand and guides me towards the open door and all the way to the hallway. I just find myself tailing her, knowing that we are already at the main cafeteria. The place is wide and packed of students having their lunch by their designated places.

"Come on, we already have a place here."

"Place?" With a questioning look I just tailed her. As we stride to the cafeteria the students pave our way just like what they did this morning. Are they nuts? I think the students here are some kind of psycho or whatever. With their prying eyes following every step we take. This is getting on my nerves, but I should calm myself. I just found myself in front of two pretty girls sitting in a five sitting table. As if they were waiting for something.

"Senpais! I brought her. Come Alexis-san, sit in her." Ayaka-san guides me to the sit next to her while facing to the two.

"Finally, I'm very excited this morning but I've got a practice so I didn't greet you. I'm Yukimori Ritsu, 2nd year tennis and volleyball player." Introduced by the girl in blue varsity jacket, a sporty type, which was my first impression. Her physique were perfect, her eyes are big that made her look like a living doll.

"And I'm Aki Kannon, I'm the photographer for the newspaper, 3rd year, nice meeting you." I shake their hands after I introduced myself.

"You can just call me Alexis, senpais"

"Well that's okay to us, first name basis for us too" Kannon senpai answered.

"Uhmm, I need to buy my food."
