Chapter 31: Deception and Promise

(Meter's POV) 

The sun is rising when I open my eyes in an unfamiliar room. I saw someone was sleeping in the nearby bed. Right, we were in the same room. I get up and fix myself before I went out to the restaurant. I bought a brewed coffee and went outside at the deck to witness the sunrise in the middle of the sea. It was majestic view.

"It's beautiful." I utter.

"Hmm, yeah, it's beautiful senpai." I stun by the voice in my back and I turn to see Alexis with her drowsy eyes.

"Alexis, ohayou (good morning)."

"Ohayou senpai. You're too early senpai."

"I was awake then. Coffee?" I offered her the coffee.

"No thanks senpai, I'm fine." We decided to sit in the nearby benches while watching to view infront of our eyes. Then, we heard some ruckus inside the restaurant.

"Yah! I get here first, so I get to order first." Ayaka's voice is echoing inside.

"And why is that? There's no difference, isn't?" Followed by Yuji's uproar. The two are quarreling again so early in the morning.

"Will the two of you just stop! Why do you have to exchange blows every time you met with each other?" Kannon stop them and everything went silent. Those two brats are getting along with each other. I wonder what happened to those two last night.

"Ah! Meter senpai, Alexis you two are awake?"

"Yeah, and what's with your face, Ayaka?" Alexis ask.

"This jerk here interrupts me in buying some milk inside." She retorted.

"Yah, I came here first." Yuji retort back.

"I said, I was here first--." Before they can start another fight I voluntarily stop them.

"Stop! To the two of you or I will punish you when we get back." They bow their heads in submission. Out of the blue, the remaining persons went to the deck and eat our breakfast.

"Senpai, is that it? The vacation island?" I turn look at what Alexis is pointing out in the middle of the sea. I saw an island with a white sand beach all over embracing the blue waters from the ocean. In addition, on top of the cliff is a large mansion and below it was a forest. Amazing, it's beautiful in here.  

A small boat fetch us going to the island.

"Yay! It's beautiful in here! I want to take pictures now."

"You are right! It's beautiful in here. It's great that I accept the invitation." We were playing in beach when suddenly three black limousines stop infront of us. A tall girl with a wide brim hat in her apple green dress get off from the car.

"Good morning everyone! Welcome to the Paradise!" My jaw drop from shock and I can't figure out what was happening until this time.

"Meister(Ma-i-ster)-nee!?" I blurt out. Happiness was all written in her face.

"What are you doing here!? I thought you were in France!"

"Oh, I just got back here little sis. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself to you. I'm Meister Akiyama, big sister of Meter. Please to meet you." She walks through the others and shook their hands with her. What a great family reunion. I thought it was a business trip. I don't know what she is thinking right now. I suddenly got goose bumps. I know my sister very well, she like to interfere in other people's life. She will do everything to make their relationship worse. That was her hobby if I say.
