Chapter 5: Engaged

(Alexis' POV)

"You know Alexis-chan, I don't get life. It bores me to death." Ayaka scoffed at my face.

"Hmm what do you want me to do?" I answered back. We are inside the classroom chatting to each other, while I copy her notes in all my subjects that I need to catch up.

"Are you listening to me?"

"I am listening to your babbling all the time since this morning, and all I hear was you monologue about how this life bores you to death." I bluntly said.

"Ah, alright I will stop talking so that you can concentrate in whatever so important that you are doing."

"Hmm I hope you truly understand that because I already heard that from you five times. Aren't you tired of talking the same sentence the whole time?"

"You know Alexis-chan, it is one of my charm, that is why I'm so popular among the boys here."

"Well, I wouldn't argue about that, beside it's not me."

"Hey Alexis-chan, do you know about Kannon senpai and Kaname senpai?"

"What about them?"

"It was a humor around here that they were engaged with each other."

"Then, what about it? Is it just a humor?"

"Well, even Kannon senpai don't talk about these kinds of things, especially about her personal life. She rarely talks about it."

"Because it's not something you can easily open up with."

"I guess it's true. Then let's find out ourselves."

"Eh!?" I shouted with a surprised. And all of our classmates looked at us with confusion. Some stare at us as if we are some lunatics.

"What do you mean about that?"

"Uhmm, the other day Kaname senpai asked Kannon senpai for a date."

"And Kannon senpai agree with it."

"Well not that exactly, she was tricked."

"Then, we have nothing to do with it, it's their life."

"We have to save her!" Ayaka announced.

"She's not in the devil's hands, so why are you so paranoid about that? It's just a date, is it?"

"I know you'd thought that. But I need your help, we have to find out what is their relationship or the other way around."

"Ayaka, we don't have the right to barged into their whatever situation it is."

"Are you not that curious? There true status in life? Come on Alexis-chan you have to help me.!" Without much adieu, I agreed to her.

"Alright, fine I'll come with you. And when is this date you are talking of? "Don't worry about everything, I have the best plane ever." She announced cheerfully.

"Then, what is Meter senpai and Ritsu senpai doing here?" I asked Ayaka.

"Of course were coming too. We're a team, aren't we?" Meter senpai answered

"And we'd like to see it either, that's why we'd come." Ritsu senpai exclaimed. We disguised ourselves so that people would not recognize us. We are located at the entrance of an expensive restaurant as we survey our surroundings inside the car.

"They're late! Where are they?" Ayaka scoffed.

"Patience, Ayaka. They are here." Ritsu senpai said. We saw them getting out of the car infront of the restaurant. The butler greets them and they went in. Without wasting our time, we followed them inside. Shortly after, we saw them at the far side of the restaurant, and then we find our place adjacent to them, where we can hear what they are talking. They have serious looks in their faces, as if they are waiting for someone special.
