Chapter 1: Strings

Ting...ting....

"Oh no! I'm late! I should have woke up early this time.," Scoffed, Ayaka Hisashi was running hurriedly in the quiet long hallway of the school.

Zap!

"Meter Senpai! I'm sorry I'm late. I was overslept." Inside she saw the person she was looking for, Meter Akiyama.

"Is that so? Well, it's ok. Did you finish the report that Mr. P appointed to you?"

"Hai senpai, here it is." Ayaka handed the brown envelop to Meter's grasp for scanning. Meter read the contents and was contended after this.

"I think it's enough. It's not that hard to edit the information about this new student. You can go now, Ayaka."

"Hai senpai, arigatou." After Ayaka closed the door, she immediately looks at the folder where a student profile was printed.

"Hirasawa Alexis, hmm...I think she's good to be part of us. Let's see what she can do." With a satisfied smile, she went out of the Student Council Room and walked soundly in the hallway.

Meanwhile Yuji Usami was running furiously ascending to the stairs going to the rooftop. He finds a person practicing his violin in the rooftop, their favorite place.

"Hey Jiro Kagami, I was looking for you everywhere. Why didn't you attend our first class?" Yuji sat down beside him and put his arms behind his head and leans on the wall.

" I don't like the teacher, so I better practice my violin lessons."

"I don't know what can I do make you study at least once in a while. You merely attend to our classes. And more, you're practicing." Jiro stared at him in disdain.

"I'm studying as you can see, I passed the exams and graduate high school." He put down his violin and put it in the case properly. He puts his right hand in his pocket and lean on the wall.

"You don't want to get an honor at least once in your life?" Jiro grinned at him

"No. I'm satisfied on what I have." He gave Jiro a flabbergasted look.

"For Pete's sake! How about your father, a famous person in the country, and always telling his son to study hard?" Jiro put his attention to the sky, and made a deep sigh.

"It's not my problem anymore. At least I can finish my study." Jiro said with annoying voice.

"With his money and power?" Yuji said sarcastically.

"Yuji, let's stop this, were just running to circles."

"Yeah you're right, we have this conversation a million times when I met you." Jiro smiled for what his friend said.

"Thanks, I know you're the one who can understand me well."

"As you say, let's go before the next lesson starts."

"Yeah, sure."

"(Sigh)...I should get a scoop before this coming Friday for our school newspaper. What are you doing Kannon Aki, you're behaving like a jerk and irresponsible. But, where can I get it? Every day was so ordinary, nothing's change anyway-."

Pak!

"Oh no!" Before she knows it a hard thing hit her head and fell in the ground, stumbled in the hard ground as she felt that the world around her was spinning.

"Ouch...my head hurts. Thank God, my camera is ok." She grabs her camera in the ground that falls from her grasp and scan if it takes any damage.

"Kannon, are you alright? I'm sorry I didn't see you walking." A young man wearing white soccer uniform come to her aid his name is Kaname Mizuki. His hands grab her arms and help her stand up.
