Chapter 26: Kiss of Silence

(Sho's POV) 

"I can't answer all that now. But, I can't deny what I was feeling for you." I cupped her face and I descend my face and press my lips on hers. I started to move my lips and kiss her aggressively this time, the kiss long for a minute. And by the time I stop, she suddenly fall down. But before she fall, I immediately grabs her and pinned her in the glass wall. I cupped her face, and I felt that she was burning, maybe, because of tiredness and the cold rain. She easily gets sick when caught up in the rain or lack of rest. I waited for the rain to stop before we can get out, then the rain stop after an hour. I lift her up and I kick the door to open. I went straight to the parking lot near the park where I park my car. I open the door of the driver's seat as I sit while holding Meter on my lap. I started the engine and drive to my penthouse. I have a penthouse near the school, it's convenient than to take her to her house. I pick up my phone in my pocket and dial a number. I call Meter's driver about what happen and request him to deliver some Meter's clothes to my penthouse. We arrive at the hotel, I went straight to the private elevator of the parking lot and push the up button. The door opens in the highest room and walks fast in the corridor. I look for my key, stab it in the keyhole, and unlock the door. I went straight to my bed and lay her down there. I can see that she was shivering to death. I pat her forehead as I realized that I was right. I hurriedly boil water and find a towel on my closet. After the water boil I put the hot water in the basin. I put the basin and the towel in the side table. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door. That must be Meter's driver with her clothes. I open the door and I saw him with a paperbag. I receive the paperbag and he walks away. I take off my jacket from her and even her clothes and undergarments. I put the blanket on her as I soak the towel on the warm water. I put the towel on her forehead, while waiting, I get another towel and wipe her cold sweat from her body. I didn't notice that I have already at the state of slumber staring at her face.

(Meter's POV) 

I woke up because of my headache. I force my eyes to open and I realize that I wasn't in my room. I tried to recall what happened yesterday but it was all at blur. The last thing that I remember is that I was with Sho in the heavy cold rain, then after that was all blur. I tried to sit when a towel fall down from my head. Then, I realize that there was someone beside me. He was Sho. He suddenly move, maybe he realize that I was already awake. He brushes his eyes and stare at me awe sticken.

"You alright?" He said as I nod to his question. He touches my forehead to get my body temperature.

"You still have fever, I better cook your food. And stay put." He gets down from the bed and go straight to the kitchen. I look around and I saw the basin with water on the side table. Does he take care of me all night? I tried to get up but I felt something is wrong. I peek below the sheet and I realize that I was naked.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

"What? What happened!?" I saw him anxiously approaching from the kitchen wearing his apron. He tried to touch me but I was taken aback.

"Don't touch me! Get away!" I shouted on top of my lungs.

"What did I do? What did I do?"

"How dare you take advantage of me! Why am I naked!?" He didn't answer. I knew it! He is the biggest jerk on earth! But then he suddenly grin.

"What do you think I did?" He said while smiling sheepishly. My eyes grew wide and my cheeks burn. I cover my ears and shut my eyes.

"I don't want to hear it!" But he pull my hands.

"Listen to me, I didn't do something bad to you. I take off your clothes because you are soak wet in the rain and you are shivering to the bone." He explains softly. I slowly stare at his eyes if he was telling the truth.
