"Nothing.. But it's not like that with me and Jimin. He's been a good friend and we were just talking-"
"I've heard that one before.." I said rolling my eyes.
"No! I'm serious, nothing happened with-"
*"Ding-dong! Ding-dong!"*
The doorbell announced Tae's arrival, and with it, Hanna was saved.
"I'll see you later, Hanna." I grimaced at how bitter this conversation had ended.
Atleast this date would take things off my mind..
-
Taehyung was still not telling me our date location. We were taking the subway and from the looks of our ticket, we were going quite far away; outside of the familiar part of city.
As a celebrity would, the brown haired man was wearing a mask and a cap in an attempt to hide his identity. Surprisingly, we have yet to be approached. To be fair it was office rush hour, and the trains were packed with salary men like a can of sardines.
"Where are we going?" I asked for the umpteenth time, only to be given a knowing smile that extended past the lining of his mask.
Multiple times today he had said that he wanted to keep the location a surprise. As it would be more 'romantic' apparently.
"Come on," he gestured towards the stationed train at the platform. "Let's get on!"
Sighing, I complied, shoving ourselves into the tightly packed carriage. As the locomotive started to move, I found myself pushed up against the window I was staring out of. I always loved train rides, seeing the hustle and bustle of the city go by so peacefully had a calming effect on me.
"It's pretty isn't it.." Taehyung said for the first time since leaving the station. As I turned around to face him, I suddenly became conscious of how close he was to me. The train was still packed with people and I definitely knew he wasn't trying to make a move on me. My clothed legs ajar from his worn out jeans, his arm leaning against the window above me for support, and his chin just short of grazing my forehead.
"Don't you think?"
"What?" I had completely missed what he was saying. The distance (or lack there of) between us was too distracting. It didn't help that the cologne he was wearing was making my ovaries melt.
"I said.. isn't Seoul city so pretty when you look at them from up here?" He was gazing out the window with his dreamy eyes and a slight smile. Tensing up from the nervousness I was feeling, all I could manage was a nod.
For the next 40 minutes, I was struggling to stay completely still, not wanting to accidentally touch him and give away my timidness. Perfectly balancing myself between the visual and the window while the train was going over 100km/h was probably one of the hardest things I had to do in my life.
"Oh!" He perked up. "Our stop is next, are you ready?"
We wiggled our way closer to the crowded exit so that we'd be able to get off easier once the train stopped. But before we managed to reach the sliding doors, the train abruptly slowed down and let out a loud screech.
Losing my balance mid step I cried out as I reached for anything to save me from falling. I opened my eyes after my tumble, and hoped to God I hadn't fallen over on some seedy middle aged man. To my pleasure, my face was buried in a musky scented chest. V had luckily predicted this would happen and had rushed to get a hold of me.
"Are you okay?" He looked down at me eyes full of concern.
My heart pounding inside my chest, I looked up at his angelic face. His tense face had turned into a smirk as he noticed me blushing.
