Nino x reader- So I could talk to you more

"U-uh, hey girls" you jumped at the voice behind you. It was Nino!

"Hey Nino" Marinette greets.

"H-hi" you waved.

"C-can I-I uh borrow (Y-Y/N) for a s-second Marinette?" Nino asks Marinette.

"Go ahead! Have fun you two~" Marinette sings, pushing you forward a bit before skipping off.

"So....." you trail off.

"I'm glad to see you made it to Adrien's party" Nino says nervously.

"Yeah, Marinette practically begged me to go though she ditched me for Adrien at the beginning" You answer. A slow song came on.

"Alright everyone, grab a partner, because it's slow song time!" Adrien announces.

"U-uh, would you like to dance?" Nino asks shyly, holding out his hand.

"Sure" you answer. Taking his hand, he led you to the dancefloor with all the other couples. He put his hands on your waist and you put your hands on his shoulders. You swayed to the music and looked at your feet, to nervous to look at your crush in the eye.

"Hey uh, I know you'd rather be studying right now, but it's really great that you made it to Adrien's party." Nino says, breaking the awkward silence.

"Uh, yeah, you can thank Marinette for that" you answer.

"How so?"
"She used me weakness against me"
"Anime?"
"How'd you know I liked-" (You basically kept your love of anime a secret so people  *cough* Chloe *cough* won't make fun of you)
"When I was sitting in the back and you sat in the middle I caught glimpses of your art. It's really good actually" Nino explains.

"Oh my god, that old trash? I'm so much better now" you tell him.

"Well maybe you could show me your drawings sometime" he suggests.

"If you went to art club, then maybe. Did you teach Adrien to D.J?" You ask him.

"Yeah, he almost broke my gear the first time I let him use it. I practically gave up on the dude." He laughs a bit and you giggle.

"So what convinced you to teach him?"
"I um...actually..." he seemed flustered.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to" you tell him.

"Well um, you see, it was so I could talk to you more, y-y'know? B-because I-I'm u-usually D-d.Jing a-and I don't really get to t-talk to you w-when y-you d-do show up." Nino stutters nervously. You just blushed red.

"Well at least Adrien learned something really cool from his best friend" you say quietly.

"Yeah..." Nino trailed off, back to awkward silence again. The song ended and you told Nino you had to go freshen up. When you came back he was on his stand, D.Jing. He smiled your way and you smiled back at him a bit.

The party was over, Marinette and you were starting to leave.

"So (Y/N)? What was your favorite part of the party?" Marinette asks.

"The cake" you answered, patting your stomach.

"Oh come on, I saw you dancing with Nino, you guys looked cute together on the dancefloor." She teases you, nudging you in the ribs.

"(Y/N)!!!" The familiar voice of Nino shouted as you were like 2 meters from the gate to Adrien's house.

"H-hey" You greet shyly.

"H-hey" he answers back.
"I'll leave you two alone" Marinette says, walking away.

"So...um...I don't know about you but I h-had a fun time tonight and I was w-wondering, m-maybe we could do this again sometime?" Nino suggests.

"Maybe" you kiss his cheek and began walking away. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, Nino." You waved before disappearing around the corner to see a wild Marinette do her happy dance.

"Mari, are you ok?" You ask.

"Y-yeah, never better" she answers.

"Ok..." Not five steps later she shouted.

"MY OTP CAME TRUE!!!" You raised an eyebrow at her and shook your head.

~Extended Ending-ish~

Nino stood where you left him, his cheeks beet red.

"Uh hey Nino, you ok?" Adrien asks, waving his hand in Nino's face. He sighed, a small smile appearing on his face.

"I miss her already"

"Oh dear god, (Y/N) broke my best friend"
