Chapter Sixteen : What Just Happened?

Vanessa's POV

I just stood there in the corner crying.

Josh just broke up with me.

Because of the stupid kiss I did with Matthew.

It was only for the damn play.

I wanted to explain.

But he wouldn't listen.

Damn it Josh.

Why can't you see that I love you no matter what.

I fell down on the floor and just cried.

I saw Nick looking for me.

When he saw me on the floor crying.

He ran to me.

He bent down to face me.

"Vanessa, what's wrong?" He asked.

I looked into his eyes.

"Josh...broke...up with me" I said as I cried.

He quickly hugged me.

"I'm so sorry, Vanessa" He said.

I cried even harder as the thought of Josh and I not being together came to mind.

Nick rubbed my back as he hugged me.

"Shh it's ok" He said.

I'm so glad to have a friend like Nick.

He's amazing.

I'm glad he's here to help me through this painful time.

"Let me take you home, you need to rest" He said as he got up and put out his hand.

I took it and he pulled me up.

"But you'd be missing school" I said while wiping away my tears.

He smirked.

"You know I skip all the time, why should I stop now?" He said.

I giggled.

"I thought that'd make you laugh" He said while smirking.

We started to walk out the cafeteria with everyone else.

We went to my locker to get my stuff.

I still saw a few of Josh's things.

It hurt to think that we wouldn't be sharing lockers anymore.

Nick noticed me staring at the locker.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I shut the locker.

"I'm fine" I said.

We walked out the school.

It wasn't really that hard to leave the building.

No one really watches us.

Nick and I both got in his car.

He started to drive.

It was really silent.

All I could think about was Josh.

Having him in my bed.

Holding his hand.

Kissing him forever.

Making love to him which we never did and probably won't do now.

I sighed as we kept driving.

I just want to go home and cry myself to sleep.

We finally got to my house.

He stopped the car.

I looked at him.

"Thanks so much for the ride Nick" I said.

He looked back at me.

"Anytime" He said.

I smiled.

"I hope you feel better" He continued.

"I will" I lied.

There's no way I'm going to feel better.

Without Josh by my side.

I have nothing.

I kissed Nick on the cheek and got out the car and walked inside my house.

I watched as Nick drove away.

I ran to my room.

Fell on my bed and slept.

And of course.

I just had to dream of Josh.

FUCK.MY.LIFE ! :(

I'm still thinking on how to get Vanessa and Josh back together.
