Hunter POV

My day starts at three in the afternoon. I had my routine that I religiously follow.

Wake up. Tell the girl I slept with to get out. Shower. Eat. Work at the bar. Eat. Party. Get drunk. Pick up a girl. Have sex. Sleep and Repeat.

At the age of twenty seven, I'm already a successful businessman and owned the most elite bar in the Philippines, the Valkire Bar. It has three branches. One in Makati which I managed hands on. One branch in Boracay. And one in Palawan.

I came from a prominent family of Davidsons, the son of a shipping tycoon Paul Caven Davidson. And although money flows like water in our family, I can proudly say that I am rich by my own doing. When I was in college, whenever I'm not partying...I've been investing in stocks. My goal has always been to raise enough money to build a place where I can party all night long but still earn my keeps. And when I finally had enough money from playing stocks, I started building Valkire, my ultimate dream.

I had my shares of devilry and troublemaking back in the days. I earned the name 'Hunter Badass' because of it. And because Davidsons are influential enough, I can almost get away with anything. The nickname sticks until today that it made me look tougher, no one dares to defy me and even my own employees are afraid of me.  Being a badass-bar owner also helped me to the point that people are afraid to make trouble inside my turf.

It's been a hectic month at Valkire. Summer is our peak season and finally today I decided to take a breather and stay at my cabin to unwind and relax. Fishing has always been my stress reliever.  I own a small cabin near the beach, in a secluded area in Batangas where I can sit and catch fish all day and night.

So here I am driving at two o' clock in the morning on an impulse. I decided to go fishing as early as the sun rises.
I'm almost near my cabin house when it started to rain cats and dogs. My fishing expedition is a fail. I slowed down my car, it is hard to see the road ahead because of the heavy rain.

My eyes widened as I quickly stepped on the break when I suddenly saw a silouhette of a human standing in the middle of the road. My car screeched on its sudden halt and my body almost thrown in front of my steer. I angrily stare at the front only to see a shape of a woman in white. Her arms wide spread and her head upturned, her eyes were close and the rain generously falling straight to her face.  I quickly went out of my car, furious with the woman who I almost ran over.

"Hoy miss! Nagpapakamatay ka ba?!" Gigil na sigaw ko sa kanya.

The woman slowly opened her eyes and then level her head to mine to face me. I almost forgot how angry I was at the sight of her. My jaw dropped when I finally saw her beautiful face. She has this tiny heart-shaped face, lips that are too full and luscious, they looked delicious. Her eyes are big and heavily fringed, a perfect straight nose and her complexion looks smooth and fair. My eyes dipped down to what she is wearing and I swallowed hard. She's wearing the thinnest white dress that stick to her body like second skin. The headlight of my car didn't even helped to conceal her as it highlighted more of her white undergarments hugging her full breast. I gaped as my eyes dipped even lower to her flat stomach and her white panty so evident in her soak and thin white dress. My eyes only stopped roaming when I heard her spoke.

"Life hurts a lot more than death." She said and then she closed her eyes and fell unconcious on the road, I ran to her and squat on the ground next to her.

"Miss! Miss!"

The rain continued pouring, soaking me cold and a shiver runs down my spine when the cold wind blew.

I reversed my aircon to a heater and looked for my jacket at the backseat of my car.

I gave the girl one last look before starting my car again and drove it towards my cabin.

Tsk!
