Chapter 7: Too Far

Megan's POV:

I tip toed silently across Scooters new office inside. I put my ears on the door quietly as I overhear Scooters and Justin's conversation.

Early this morning Scooter and Justin had been talking about something secretly and it wasn't much of a secret since they aren't good at keeping secrets.

"So how do I tell her Scooter? We just got back you know" I heard Justins voice.

"I'm sorry man but this is your career. It's very important."

"Cant she come along?" he asks

"You can try but I bet shes going to say no" Scooter said

"Why?"

"Because she has school, and she's gave up music industry remember?"

"Cant she be back in the industry again?" Justin asks

"She doesn't want to" Scooter replied.

"How do you know?"

"I already asked her"

It was true. Scooter kept annoying me if I wanted to be back in the music industry again ever since I came back.

But I rejected him every chance I got. Honestly I wasn't ready.

School? Well I already missed a few days of university... I really liked it though, and I wasn't going to drop out, it would be a waste. Honestly I haven't even finished stuff back in New York. Hoping I would go back for a while with Justin but seems like he is going to be busy?

What was happening?

"I don't know man but you tell her" Scooter said.

"Alright" Justin said

I quickly found my feet and ran into Justin's room flying to the bed, pretending I had already been here doing whatever it was I was doing. I tried hard to calm down since my heart was beating fast.

"Hey baby girl. Watcha doing?" Justin says barging in

"Nothing much just laying down" I told him

"Oh well we gotta talk"

"Oh.. What is it?" I tried not to look like I already know

"Well... Im going on tour soon" he said coming out

"Oh...Whens soon?" I asked

"Next week"

"Oh... thats very soon."

"Do you want to come along?" he asks

Right now it is stupid for him to ask that. I was his girlfriend so he should be asking if I want to come along or not. If I had nothing to do then I would have gone with him UGH I honestly dont know. He pissed me off.

"What kind of a question is that?" I snapped

"What?" he said without knowing anything

"Asking me if I want to go or not. Im your girlfriend right? So you dont ask Justin"

"Im sorry baby." he said

"Ugh, So?" I made a face for him to go on.

"So... Your going right?"

"Ugh but thats the thing Justin. I dont think I can"

"What? Why?"

"Because I have to finish school and leave New York by finishing my accomplishments you know"
