Delsin Rowe and the Teen Titans: Short Stories

Raven's day off part 2

Ever since Raven left, Delsin had been running around playing with his children. Laughing, singing, partying. You name it, they did it. But Delsin was beginning to get tired. I guy with four types of powers to boost him up and it only takes 2 hours with his own children and he'll be ready to sleep for an entire two days! But Delsin would not submit into sleep just yet. This was his first time in a whole month has he been able to spend time with Sabrina and Zack. They were the second thing in the world that mattered to him, first was Raven. But he had to hand it to her. Doing everyday! She had to cook for them, clean up after them, run after them when they did something wrong. Delsin would've easily lost his mind. But Raven didn't. Delsin smirked at the thought of him, all those times he would be going around saying he was the more calm and collected of the two. 'Guess I was wrong' Delsin thought smiling. Bringing Delsin back from his train of thought, Sabrina jumped on him with a big grin on her face. "Daddy! Let's go to the park! Please come on!" Sabrina said as she pulled Delsin along. "But....We just....". "COME ON!!!!!". "Ok... Don't shout...Just hold on and let me get your brother" Delsin said as he walked up the stairs to grab baby Zack. He was sleeping so peacefully until Delsin picked him up, he got a little cranky. He was crying loudly, Delsin put his hand on his back and tried to soothe him. "Shhh shh shh, it's okay. Go to sleep" Delsin whispered which the baby was slowly starting to comply. But Sabrina ran up those stairs, waking Zack up. "Sabrina!" Delsin whined. "Sorry but Uncle Nightwing, Uncle Cyborg and uncle Garfield is here to see you" Sabrina said. "Alright, can you hold Zack for a few minutes?" He asked. Sabrina nodded and took him from my arms. Delsin ran downstairs to see Dick, Victor, and Garfield all gathered around my living room. "Hey D, what's up!" Garfield greeted him. "I'm good but what are you guys doing here?" Delsin asked curiously. "Haven't seen the news huh?" Cyborg said as he turned on the TV with his own arm. As the TV turned on, the channel was changed to the news in the blink of an eye. "Breaking News! Jump City has been attacked by the Department Unified Protection or in other words: D.U.P. they have raided offices, stores, restaurants, spas. They are everywhere. Where are the Teen Titans when you need them!" The news anchor said. Then the TV shut off. "It's chaos out there" Garfield said. "We need your help Delsin, are you with us?" Nightwing asked. "But..... I'm watching the kids guys. Any other day, I would've loved to go and kick some ass with my friends like the good old days but I'm not just dropping them so I can go with you" Delsin said. "I promised Raven I would watch them like a hawk". They all looked at Delsin with a disappointed look on their faces. "Wait.....So my dad is going to bring us along while he fights crime?..." Sabrina said holding Zack, overhearing their conversation. "No.. Sabrina I'm not....". "AWESOME!!!!" she shot up and said, almost dropping Zack. She caught him and fixed herself. "See? Even Sabrina wants you to come with us! Come on?" Garfield said. Delsin thought about it for a while. Then he came to a decision. "You make sure you do not get the way of the battle and keep your brother safe!" Delsin said to his daughter who nodded. "Alright..... I'm in"

As they reached the city, Delsin gave Zack to Sabrina and brought them both to a safe spot. "No matter what happens, you will stay right here!, Got it?" Delsin said. Sabrina nodded and Zack cooed. "Good, be safe" Delsin said as he kissed his son and daughter on the forehead and ran off to the guys. "You know if Raven finds out that you brought your kids to fight crime, she'll literally kill you" Cyborg said. "ohhh believe me, I know" Delsin said. "Hey Dick! Say it one more time before we fight, you know like the good old days" Garfield said smiling at the thought. "Alright, for old times sake, TITANS GO!!" Nightwing said as everyone clashed at the D.U.P truck. The truck tumbled over and the back door broke open, signaling that the soldiers are coming out. "It's the Titans! Kill 'em! But leave Rowe alive! Boss wants him all to herself" One of the soldiers said. They all attacked. Garfield turned into a lion and charged at everyone, biting anything that came in his path. Cyborg did some old style hand to hand combat just like Nightwing was doing but Nightwing was more flexible. Then Cyborg pulled out his sonic cannons and shot a couple of soldiers. "Get outta here! This isn't a city you wanna be messing with! Not when the Titans are around" Nightwing said as he did an acrobatic kick and turned his escrima sticks into a staff and threw it at a bunch of Soldiers, knocking them out. It flew back to him and Nightwing turned them back into regular combat sticks so and attacked one of the big brutes. "Delsin want to assist me here!" Nightwing said as he slide and kicked the back part of the brute's shins. The brute flew in the air for a while as Delsin neon sprinted to him and jumped up so high with the help of his video wings and came crashing down like a comet thanks to his concrete powers and smashed him to the ground. "More than happy to help" Delsin said as he neon sprinted over to a group of soldiers and body checked them with a concrete covered shoulder. Delsin stopped running and stood in place activating his video powers and just shot out some automatic video pixels. He then pulled out his chain and activated his smoke powers and smoke dashed past someone and grabbed his head while still moving and threw him. He started hitting some soldiers with his smoke chain and shot someone in their weak spots, subduing them. "I believe in letting some of you live so you can go back to wherever you came from so you can share with your buddies on what you experienced so they won't come looking for a demonstration!" Delsin said harshly but smoothly. Then out came reinforcements. Five trucks came carrying ten brutes holding heavy machine guns. "Uh Dudes! We are outnumbered big time!" Garfield said. "No shit! What do we do bossman?" Cyborg asked Nightwing. "I could use my mega sonic cannon on them....". " No! Last time you used that, you almost drained your own battery! You're not doing that again!" Nightwing said. "Don't sweat it guys I got this!" Delsin said as he crouched down and gathered smoke around him and caused him to jump up really high. He then morphed into smoke and split into four parts of smoke and reattached at a point of altitude and stayed in place for a moment. "Oh I know what he's going to do" Nightwing said looking up. The soldiers looked up as well, feared for the worst. They shot at him while he's airborne, hoping to get at least one hit but no luck. "Maybe we should step a few metres back...." Garfield said as they all nodded in agreement and the three ran back. Then they heard it. The loud BOOOM!!!!!! Smoke and fire was everywhere. The team barely made it out of the radius of that attack but none of them were harmed. The brutes were knocked out cold. Delsin then returned from his smoke form and walked to his team. "Delsin.... That was so....". "AWESOME!!!!" they all said in unison. "But the damage in this area is massive, the press and government will hold this over our heads" Nightwing said. "Ahh we cause more damage then this" Cyborg said. Nightwing thought about it and nodded in agreement. "Alright, looks like we settled things so let's get Sabrina and Zack and some pizza in celebration" Delsin said as everyone cheered. But unlucky for them, Zack and Sabrina weren't there. "Guys!!! Zack and Sabrina.....They... They aren't there! Where are they?!" Delsin said freaking out. "Raven is going to kill me if she finds out......". "TOO LATE!!" A familiar voice said. Delsin turned his head to see a very pissed off purple headed woman holding a baby in her arms and held a little girl's hand in another. "Oh....Hey sweetie...How was the spa...?" Delsin asked lowly, knowing he was facing his cause of death. "Delsin!!!!!! I GAVE YOU ONE TASK:just watch the kids and THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE DOING?!?!?!" Raven said as she summoned her magic hand grabbed him. "YOU'RE IN SOOOO MUCH TROUBLE!!!!". And dragged him off. "Damn! That must suck" Garfield said, relieved that he had dodged a bullet with Raven. "Shut up Gar. Don't you have to be home before the streetlights come on. It's now 7:30 and lights come on at 8. You better run!" Cyborg said checking the time on his wrist. "HOLY MOLY! I GOT TO GET OUTTA HERE BEFORE TERRA KILLS ME! BYE!" Garfield said as he turned into a cheetah and ran for his life. Cyborg and Nightwing just watched and laughed at them. "Wives....."
