"Fine, you don't have to tell me what's wrong, but you gotta let me help you." He stood tall, blocking my path and the metal door at the bottom of the staircase.
"You look pretty pathetic right now. Adorable, but pathetic no less."
My eyes widened at his remark, and I gaped as nothing else could come out of my mouth. With no luck for words, my hands gestured the best 'what the hell' I could come up with.
"I can stand here all day, no one comes here but Jin, and you can't go anywhere on that leg." His trademark dimples appeared as he gave me a crooked smile.
Why does he have to be so good looking? No one can say no to that smile.
His eyebrows shot up, paired with an even wider grin.
"Good to know my smiles have that effect on you." He winked.
Realising I've said the last comment out loud, I could feel the red reach my ears. Frantically, I tried to think of something to defend my honor.
I was physically squirming under his curious gaze.
This amused the rapper even more. Holding his abdomen, he could no longer contain himself laughing.
"Come on," he said still catching his breath. "I'll take care of you"
He turned around and crouched down without saying a word. His back was facing me and his hands were ready to prop me up onto a piggyback.
"What?!" I spat.
"Come on, don't worry about it, I'm stronger than I look." He turned his head slightly to reply. "I'll take you to the first aid office."
I stood there frozen, unsure of what to do. As an ARMY, my inner fangirl was going nuts, and my heartbeat followed. But to be carried by one of the main faces of BigHit Entertainment across the halls of that very company's building? The one I was working at no less?
This was not something I was prepared for.
If anyone finds out I said 'no' to this I'd be shot dead. Hell, I would probably shoot myself in the foot too.
Namjoon stayed there perfectly still, not saying a word, patiently waiting for me to obey.
I took a deep breath and let out the biggest sigh I could muster.
-
Luckily, after multiple checks done by the leader, who stuck his head out into the hallway (much to my insistence), it was safe to say most of the people had left the building.
The halls were almost empty, aside from the occasional staff member.
Namjoon wasn't kidding when he said he could wait all day. It took me 10 long minutes to even move towards him, and when I finally agreed, he didn't even gloat.
"Ahh- could you try not to choke me please?"
Suddenly worried I was hurting him, I retracted my arms from around his neck and firmly gripped his shoulders.
It was tense under the navy suit, and I could feel every ripple as he worked to keep me from hitting the ground.
"Sorry.." was all I could muster.
"Stop apologising, it's not a big deal." He gently bowed as he passed another BigHit staff member, making sure I wasn't swaying too much behind him.
I shrunk smaller than I knew I could. Hiding my face from making contact with anyone.
The smell of his cologne was as strong as ever now.
Sandalwood.
I breathed him in. My nose just above his ear, I exhaled slowly.
