CHAPTER THIRTY

Xiumin's POV

I threw myself at the MAMA and swung towards its hood. The hood flew off and the cloak fell to the floor. Nothing was there. But then I felt choked from behind and the cloak flew onto me. It was clinging onto me tightly. I could hear the MAMA's voice in my head louder and louder. I was getting light headed and weak as everything went black.

The cloak was squeezing me to death where I couldn't breath. "Haven't you heard the stories of me when you were a kid? Not to touch my cloak! You stubborn piece of sh*t" It said in my head. When it was done speaking I could see again, but what I saw was tragedy. I heard a long beeping noise. Doctors and nurses ran into the room, circling Mia and handed me my crying baby. My brothers were being taken away, by the MAMA.

"Xiumin! Don't fall for it! It's an illusion! The MAMA is feeding off of your fear!" I heard Kai's voice. I shook my head and still could see the seen.

"Rip the cloak off!" Suho's voice rang.

I grabbed for the cloak and tugged at it, but it wouldn't budge. "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!" I yelled for the MAMA.

"You already know" it responded. "Your child's powers...and Mia. I can use her to have you do a lot of things for me".

"Xiumin, listen to me! He's messing with you. It's not real at all" I heard.

"Mia?" I said. I could hear her voice and see her motionless body on the hospital bed.

"Yes Xiumin. It's all an illusion" her worried voice rang. I rubbed my eyes and my vision started to adjust. Everyone was fine. Mia was still in the hospital bed and my brothers were against the wall like before. The cloak fell to the floor and disappeared. "I'll be back" Is the last thing I heard from the MAMA.

I looked at Mia, wanting to embrace her but knew I couldn't. "We need to hide Mia when they let her out and remove the footage from the video cameras" I said, leaving the hospital room. I needed to go somewhere and get some answers. I'm not going to let Mia suffer, my coming child, and my brothers. Plus, EXOPLANET is now all in my hands. The only thing I can do is leave.

Mia's POV

I woke up and saw Xiumin at the edge of my bed. He was holding his head and leaning back and forth. He looked like he was in pain. I asked Suho what was going on and he explained that the MAMA was here trying to see my baby. It always hurt my heart to see Xiumin suffer so much. He suffers always because of me. He is sacrificing so much...for me. He is putting his own home in danger to keep me alive. He goes through the most pain to keep the MAMA from causing me anymore pain.

"Xiumin, listen to me! He's messing with you. It's not real at all" I said, loud enough for him to hear.

He looked up and his eye color was fluctuating between red and pitch black.

"Mia?" he responded with desperation. He sounded like he was panicking as if he is surprised to hear my voice.

"Yes Xiumin. It's an illusion" I told him.

His eyes slowly began to change back to his beautiful brown eyes. The black cloak that was wrapped tightly around him fell to the ground . He looked at me with such pain in her eyes. He spoke to his brothers in his language and left the hospital room. He ran back in and walked to me with speed. He grabbed my face gently and kissed me with so much passion. His lips were so cold they felt like they were giving me frost bites. But right then, I didn't care. He stroked my cheek and said something in his language. Even though I didn't understand him, I felt like crying when hearing his words. He quickly walked away.

"Where the h*ll are you going, Xiumin? You're just going to leave me like that!" I yelled getting emotional. I was about to get up, but Kyungsoo gently pushed me back onto the hospital bed.

"Let him go" he said.

"H*ll no!" I said as tears streamed down my cheek. I managed to slip past Kyungsoo and walk out. I held onto the wall as I tried to walk. I was so tired and my legs felt heavy, but I needed to find Xiumin. I saw him walking out the door.

"Xiumin!" I yelled. He stopped in his tracks, but didn't turn to look back and began to walk again.

"Xiumin!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. He kept walking. I ran after him with all the strength I had, but ended up falling when I reached the door. I got up and pushed it open. I fell down to my knees and started pleading for him to stop walking. Getting up again, I walked to him, but it seemed I wasn't getting any closer. My knees were cramping. I was about to kneel down but strong arms caught me. Looking up, I looked deep into the red eyes of Xiumin. Instead of anger they were filled with love and sadness.

"You can't just leave me like that. Why are you leaving like this? Are you ever going to come back?" I said.

He wiped a tear from my face and forced a smile on his face and didn't say anything.

"Why are you leaving?" I ask.

He looks away and I grab his face and I make him look at me.

"Why are you-" he pushes me against the wall and kisses me desperately. It was a sloppy, but desperate kiss. He moved down to my neck and began kissing and sucking on it up and down. I tilted my head up and moans escaped my mouth. I pulled on the back of his hair and let him do what he wanted. He brought his lips back to mine and I made sure to be in control. I pulled back and hit his chest.

"Even though that felt so good, but I know you're trying to avoid my question. Why are you leaving?"

His eye color was fluctuating again.

"I'm going to kill that punk if it lays another f**king hand on you again" He said kissing me again. "I'm leaving to get information. I'll be back before the baby and you'll be watched by my brothers while I'm gone. Saranghe" he said kissing me on the forehead and leaving just like that.
