"You're still looking at her," Someone talk beside me. ".. the way you look at her when you guys are together."

I didn't said anything. I was just silently looking at her.

"I really wonder why you guys broke up.. you were perfect for each other."

"Bestfriend!" Someone shouted.

"Yeah, right. Bestfriend my ass." Aizan whispered. I glared at him. "What?"

"Shut up." I hissed.

He just shook his head. "Man, make sure you won't regret breaking up with Kisses." My forehead creased at what he said. "She's a good catch. If I were Marco? I'm gonna court her."

"What the hell?" I said.

"It's true, tho." He said. "Finally! Kisses Delavin is free." He chuckled. "Cos, you know? Some higher year are eyeing on your girl.. oops, I mean, you're ex."

"Just shut up, Aiz!" I hissed.

"Hi, Aizan." Maymay greeted him and he just nodded.

He tapped my shoulder and nodded at me. "Gotta go, man."

"Anong pinaguusapan niyo?" Maymay asked.

I shook my head. "Nothing important."

She smiled at me. I don't know what should I feel now. I looked at the field trying to shift my attention.. and there, I saw her laughing like she's not hurting. God, why I'm a having this feeling?

Months passed and I saw her being herself again. She was the bubbly and outgoing Kisses I knew. I don't really know if I regret letting go of her. I sighed. These past few days my mind isn't really with me.

"Lalim nun ha?"

I was shocked when I heard that voice.

"Hoy! Para namang nakakita ka ng multo?!" And she laughed.

"Heaven!" I excitedly said. "When did you arrive?!"

She laughed. "Same old Edward."

"What?"

"Nothing." She laughed. "I arrived yesterday. So, how's my bestbud?"

"I'm good." I said. "You? How's my buddy?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Really? I heard you and Kisses broke up? What happened?"

I shrugged. "I don't know."

"What the hell, Edward?!" She shouted.

"Hey! Lower down your voice!" I told her.

"What the hell did happened between you and her?" She asked. "Did you do something?"

"Are you accusing me, Heaven?" I asked her dramatically.

"Duh, Edward! I know Kisses too, arayt?" She rolls her eyes.

I chuckled. "Still, the Heaven I knew."

"Don't change the topic!" She hissed and slapped my arm. "Come on, Edwardo! Tell me what really happened?"

"Hindi ba talaga pwede?"

I was taken a back with Maymay's question.

"I'm sorry, May."

She cried when I said that. Damn, Edward. You just made a girl cried! Seriously?

"Bakit? Kaya naman kitang mahalin ha?" She asked again.

"I know, May. But she owns my heart.." That's the truth.

I saw how hurt Maymay was. But I told her the truth. That someone already owns my heart.

"Nung una si Heaven.. bakit pati si Kisses?"

My forehead creased at her question. Why Heaven's name being drag to our conversation? She's my best bud for God's sake!

"I love Kisses, May. She's my girlfriend."

"Mahal mo ba talaga siya? O mahal mo lang siya dahil sa idea na kayo?"

"May.."

"Ed, I'm sorry kung tinulak kita palayo.. I'm sorry kung hindi ko kaagad nasabi na mahal kita.." She said and cried. "Ako naman talaga mahal mo di ba?"

"Y-yes.." She looked at me. "But, as a bestfriend May.." I sighed. "I do really love, Kisses. With all that I've got.."

She cried again. I didn't know what to do, so I hugged her. I may not erase all the pain she's feeling but I'm hoping that my hug can lessen the pain.

After that scenario, Kisses been distant to me. Yes, she's always with me but her mind isn't.

We don't usually fight over with petty things. She always understands me, but lately she's changing. I don't know what's happening with her because she won't tell me.

And there, I got tired with all her issues. She doesn't trust me enough that she thinks I'm having affair with Maymay.

"Oh my god!" Heaven exclaimed.

"What?" She slapped me hard in my arm. "Aw!"

"You're so dumb!" She told me irritated. "You didn't think that someone might heard you when Maymay talked to you? They might told Kisses! Duh!"

My jaw dropped. Damn? Maybe Heaven's right!

"Or worst, Kisses might heard that herself."

My eyes grew bigger and then realization hit me! She's waiting me there that time! Shit. What the hell she heard?! She might heard that I told Maymay I love her!

Heaven laughed. "I think realization's hitting you, eh?"

"Shut up." I told her.

She just shook her head. "Now, make a move. Someone might got her na. She's a good catch."

"Why does all of you always say that she's a good catch?"

"Because, she is."

"But that doesn't mean she can be with someone not me.. she's mine."

"Nope. You broke her, remember?"

"That's the reason why you're here." I told her and wiggled my brows. "You'll gonna help you're bestbud."

She raised an eyebrow on me. "Whatever."

I saw her at the field today. She was with Marco, she was smiling like a little kid who had a cotton candy. Should I go to her? I mean, I broke her and now wanting her back..

"Mahal mo talaga siya, ano?"

I was surprised when someone talked beside me.

"Hindi nagbago yung pagtingin mo sa kanya." She bitterly said. "Ang layo niya pero siya pa din yung nasa puso mo.."

I sighed. "Maymay.."

She smiled at me pero i know she's hurting. "That's okay, Edward."

"I just don't know how to unlove her.." I said. "You see? I maybe okay but no.. I'm incomplete without her.."

A tear fell down on my cheek. "It's like my life is invalid because I don't have her."

She looked at me. "Then fight for her."

"I want her back.. I've tried my best to let go of her but I don't really want to."

Maymay left me after our conversation. I'm still here waiting for her. I'm silently wishing that she might give me a glance but she didn't, she walked away with a smile on her face and she's with Marco. I felt empty.. and this emptiness is killing me.
