"And you are here, partying with us when you are also in a med school." Mika chimed in again.
"Hay, Dennise. Paano ka natitiis nung kasama mo sa bahay?"
"Hoy, don't be fooled by her innocent smiles. That girl knows how to party harder than any of us do. She has to stay home lang talaga since she has exams. Besides, I do my thing, she does hers and we are cool. Teka, why are you more interested in her than with me? Parang mas gusto niyong andito siya kesa sa akin, ah?"
"E kasi naman, the last time we were at your apartment, 'di mo man lang kami pinakilala sa kanya. Cutie pa naman niya." Bea dreamily gazed across the room.
"Bea... seriously?"
"Come on, admit it. She is hot, 'di ba? Plus matalino, mabait, at... have I mentioned hot?" Bea giggled. She noticed how Dennise glared at her and she decided to entertain the absurd idea that just entered her mind. "Uy, don't tell me she is your next project kaya ka nagkakaganyan?"
"Wow, Den! You are also doing a girl now?!" Ara cheered, making Dennise choke on the drink she was having. "Nice one, Den. Level up na ang games mo!"
"Heck, no! Why would I do that?"
"Kasi you are Dennise?" Ara continued to prod. "Kaya pala hindi ka na nagre-reklamo when Tito told you to share an apartment with someone."
"Shut up. She is a girl, okay?"
"Who happens to like girls too!" Bea exclaimed. "Hello, have you checked out those arms? Sexy kaya! And she has a boyish charming smile!"
"She has a girlfriend!" Dennise argued again. "At teka lang, ba't siya?! How the hell did she get into this?"
"You want challenge? There is your challenge! At ano naman ngayon if she has a girlfriend? Half of the guys you have preyed on had girlfriends too, duh." Amy smirked.
"That's just weird..." Dennise mused. "The last time I checked, I was not into girls and sure hell, I am still not."
Silence hovered over the group making Dennise feel uneasy. She knew this kind of uncomfortable silence. She knew her friends were up for something.
"What?!" She snapped while her friends were still exchanging knowing glances.
"Someone is backing down. Is this the start of the change, Bea?" Amy elbowed her friend lightly.
"I think so, Amy. Akala ko pa naman, she has this title of making anyone fall madly in love with her. I guess we were wrong about her..."
"You're exaggerating." Dennise rolled her eyes.
"Haha, seems like the tiger can be tamed after all..." Mika pointed out.
