Cover:
There's a certain element to this cover that I enjoy, yet I'm still not enthralled by it. At first glance I thought the title was Black Link because of the dripping blood. After I read the blurb I realised the creepy images on the side were likely some representation of the mental struggle, but I didn't get that from the cover alone. Overall, I like the cover, but it's not an A+.

Blurb:

Mysticaly clever. You give insight into the conflict and tell the reader that art is a significant aspect of your story within only two paragraphs. Blurbs like this leave a lot to the imagination, which means some readers will gravitate toward it while others stay away. There were no concerns with grammar.

Chapter One:

I finished reading your chapter and wished someone else could've been assigned your review. Not because I didn't like it, quite the opposite, but this isn't just a novel. You delve into a world that I know so little about, art. I mean, I've walked through the Sistine Chapel, I've personally seen some of the most famous pieces to be made, but it's not something that pulls me in. That's the thing, there was a point where I wanted you to stop talking about the beauty of the pieces, the darkness and elegance of his deadly lines, and just get into the story.
Your words are eloquently spoken, and you are a master of description, but I needed more content. Nothing really happened in this chapter, at least not in a physical sense. Your work is excellent, but I feel, personally, that your audience will be somewhat niche.
