It was nice seeing him smile. He looked so beautiful. I couldn't help but stare. It was odd really how only hours ago I was terrified by the very thought of him. But now we were laying on my bed talking and I couldn't be more comfortable. I felt safe and I couldn't quite get my head around. He was now telling me about a girl in which he loved but let down. I couldn't help but feel a stab of jealously as he mentioned her. But I quickly shook the feeling away. "I let her down." he said in a broken voice.

"I doubt it. If she truly loved you, you could never let her down."

"you don't get it. I let her die. I watched her life slowly fade in front of my eyes. The one girl I loved more then my own life the one girl who was everything beautiful in this world left my world. When she died everything around me seemed to turn black."

Those simple words rang clear in my head. It was haunting. My heart ached in my chest and my breathing became labored and my mind started to spin. "I let her down." Logan said, his voice filled with emotions I couldn't see on his face.

I was left without words, but he wasn't.

"Forgive me." he said.

Then, to my surprise, he kissed me.
