"Good mowning Mommy." Enzo tells his mom, kissing her cheek.
"Good morning pumpkin pie. I love you." She whispered to him.
"Mommy, I'm hungwee."
"You are? I'm sorry baby, mommy overslept." She said, patting his cheeks.
She started to get up but I stretched my other arm holding her back.
"Hey, you're awake." She tells me, a beautiful smile on her face. I can definitely wake up to this face everyday.
"Good morning hon." I tell her, puckering my lips.
She smiled and leaned over giving my lips a light kiss. "Good morning."
Katie stirred from under us and so we break apart to give her room.
"Good mowning, daddy, mommy and Enzo." She greeted, rubbing her eyes.
"Okay, let me get up and prepare breakfast while the three of you stay here. Alright?" Maine tells us.
"I can help you." I offered.
"No daddy, mommy doesn't want us in the kitchen with her, when she makes us breakfast." Katie stated.
"Huh? Why?" I asked Maine.
"It's just my thing. Let's just say, I considered it as a few minutes of peaceful time before I start a chaotic but wonderful and fulfilling day with these two beautiful monkeys!" She said, cupping the twins chins and kissing their noses.
"Alright then mommy, you go do your thing while I keep this two beautiful monkeys entertained." I tell them, placing my arms behind my head.
"We're not monkeys mommy!" Enzo said, giggling.
"Yes, daddy, Enzo and I are not monkeys!" Katie giggled too,lying down beside me, snuggling. Enzo moved to my other side and did the same thing.
Maine looked at us three and smiled. She walked to the night table on her side and grabbed her phone.
She took a candid photo and left.
"Daddy, I'm so happy you're hewe." Enzo tells me, hugging me tighter.
"Me too daddy." Katie seconded.
"And I am very happy that I am here too."
"Are you going to weave again?" Enzo asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Are you going to weave and don't come back?"
"Oh no Enzo! When I leave I am coming back. I will just go back to the Philippines because I have work but I am coming back to get you and Katie and mommy. And maybe, we can all live in the Philippines, how about that?" I tell them.
"Pwomise daddy?" Enzo asked.
"Pinky pwomise?" Katie chimed in.
"Pinky promise." I promised them, because yes, I am not going to let them live another day without their daddy.
