Series part 5

Amy's POV

"Maddie, give me your arm" I repeated. 

"No" she said stubbornly AGAIN!

"It's just a little pinch and then you're done" I try to convince her. Since she still can't remember Dr. Styles, shes twice as scared of the hospital and him. 

"It will be over before you think" I say as I push her shoulders down so shes lying down. 

"Let me sit!" she argued. 

"C'mon Maddie. It'll be okay" Dr. Styles said as he pushed her down once again and I got hold of her arm and made sure he had it in his grip to give her the I.V

"NO STOP!" she screamed trying to get away by hitting us with her other hand. She was moving around so much, she would hurt herself when he would give her the I.V so I got hold of her other thrashing arm and held it completely above her head.

"Amy noo. Please stop" She started sobbing while hiccuping and wouldn't stop. She could barely breathe.

"1.2..3.." Dr. Styles counted and inserted the I.V in the bend of her elbow and all she did was kept crying. Her hand was completely lose in mine unlike usually when she is trying to push my hand away. 

"hey maddie, its over. It's all over. It's okay" I say rubbing her hand while she was still hyperventilating. As soon as Dr. Styles taped down the I.V, he hung up the fluids and then tried to get her pulse.

"It's too fast. She's not getting enough oxygen" he said as he grabbed an oxygen mask. By this time, both of us had let go of her arms and she was just laying there, sobbing and unable to breathe. He got the mask and put it on her face. She reached up with her hand and I immediately pulled it away as she was going to remove the mask

"Deep breaths. Everything is fine" Dr Styles and I told her. 

"She got more overwhelmed because she couldn't remember me but she should calm down soon" he explained. After a few minutes, she was able to breathe again and we took off the mask of her face. She just closed her eyes and went to sleep because of all the exhaustion. 

"We'll just keep her her for half an hour until she gets all the fluid and then she can go" he said

"i think this is the first time I've seen her not arguing or being scared or stubborn" he added and I laughed along and agreed with him.

40 MINUTES LATER

Maddie's POV

"Whats going on?" my voice was all groggy and everything felt kinda sore.

"Hey Maddie. Did you have a nice nap?" Dr Styles asked

"oh no. When can I go home?" I ask

"Wait, do you remember everything now?" He asked

"of course i do" 

"follow the light" he said shining it in my eyes. I quickly put my arm up to defend my eyes from the shining light. He just pulls up my eyelids and checks them

"ugh are we done?" I whine

"Shes back" Amy said and laughed with Dr Styles.
