"Ehehe. I'm quite proud to say I'm among the most talented liars in existence."

"I'm rather proud of my ability to tell lies. I can trick not only others, but even my own heart."

"I value human life less than a shard of a broken poker chip."

Celestia was nothing but someone who continued to surprise you with her talented lies and corrupt way of thinking. She was someone you wanted to see live through the killing game and make it on to the next stage of her life, the stage you knew that would truly allow her to hold not only the world of gambling in the palm of her hand, but maybe even the entire world.

Simply put, she was someone you looked up to and admired, someone who was able to put trust in her words and stick to what she's said. Her rationale was phenomenal and her strong will to join the higher class was the one characteristic of her that really got you hooked on her.

Even in your wildest dreams would you have thought that she would make a miscalculation along the line, a mistake that would bring her to her death.

The night before she had contact Hifumi she had come to you to discuss some things that you found awfully random at the time, but now they only made sense. She had come to you to discuss what would happen if one of you were to die, the ideal way one of you would want to die.  It was offputting at first and slightly annoying to you to have to try to look past her solid mask to search for any ill intent.

"You seem antsy. It wouldn't happen to be because you think I might harm you, would it?"

Thinking back on the moment you should have straight up denied her the knowledge of the ideal death to you. You two were in the cafeteria, a room that was filled with two cameras, cameras that Monokuma and the Mastermind were more than likely spying on you with. Your conversation was no longer private while those cameras were running, and you couldn't help but blame yourself for what happened to Celestia.

She expressed her love for things that weren't common, things that commoners touched day after day were things that weren't for her, so why would she accept a normal death when she could have an extravagant one?

Having such a normal death would have more than likely brought her to despair at the very end of her life, and you couldn't help but play back her execution in her head. Being burned at the stake was something that was highly uncommon in this day in time, but being hit by a car was a common way for someone to die, you knew a loved one who had been hit by a car.

That's what hurt you the most about Celestia's death, aside from the burning at the stake, it perfectly imitated the whole murder of your previous lover. It was as if you couldn't have anything in this life before it was taken away from you.

Finally, you opened your eyes to stare up at the dark ceiling of your bedroom. Placing a finger to your lips you remembered the last thing Celestia said to you that night before she left you with a soft kiss on the lips.

"I've grown quite fond of you, and I'll survive with you."
