Missy Sips the Tea

Missy orders a cup of Teh C,

In a land that dearly calls it in milk tea's stead,

As far as people can see,

Chinese culture is mingled with Indians and Malays.

She had chicken rice for lunch,

In Bishan where she had queued,

For half an hour just for that lovely munch,

Of the cold-cut chicken that was carefully made.

She will have satay for dinner,

In Gardens by the Bay with her lovely beau,

He promised her not to suffer,

Silently waiting for the kebab-like food,

For the supertrees will accompany his love for her,

And who says she can't drink her favourite Teh C again,

When the whole Earth loves her, oh dear,

Being in the joyous Little Red Dot,

Celebrating Diwali with her beau and her mother?

Missy happily sips the tea,

Truly the coffee shop sells great beverages,

She enjoys the beautiful architecture around her,

And calls her cup of tea the best drink of ages,

Finally she scans through the menu and said,

"Another set of toast bread, please?"
