"Muchos gracias,"
Thanked the shopkeeper,
For we bought ice-cream to the beach,
And our hearts were definitely together.
Closely knit,
Were our family ties,
The slogan goes "I help you, you help me",
And keep going was the norm to be.
We applied lotion to our skin,
And fearless we were to the beach,
Though less interested in sun bathing,
Yet not unhappily we basked in the sun.
The beach was a curve,
Like the moon to the sea,
So cherished was the place,
That even birds started to sing.
"What are they trying to do?"
I asked, apparently from the profanity,
That was drawn on the beach,
"That is pure insanity!"
"Wait, I'll draw a big love with our names in it,"
Said my sister, apparently happy to be there,
"We will also add doves to the drawing when I completed,
And let peace be with our family for many, many years."
Joyful were we,
When we got back to the hotel,
There were indeed many things to see,
And many sweet things to feel.
