Megachurch Says Hi

We were ushered in,

In an atmosphere so spiritual to say,

We were then led to our seats,

And see the unfolding of stately things.

The church is God's estate,

Being a megachurch means more duties to be done,

No playing for a commoner like me,

Who sought God's glory in the place.

"Let God be upon you,"

Said the minister,

I let go of the inequities that felt like a thousand years,

And was reminded of the joy with my sister.

"Let us repent and mend our ways,"

Said the minister again,

I let go of my addiction to gambling,

And decided to be a good man.

We left the building happily,

Having being filled in the Holy Spirit,

For God is always with us,

Yet it is our endeavour to be with God's light.
