Intertwine (Strings of Fate)

"Well, uhm, the boys been acting weird lately. Don't you notice it? Even Jiro become quieter." I turn to look at Alexis who is silently enjoying splashing waters on her face. She turns to face us who are currently glaring at her.

"Did you say something?" She said with innocent looks.

"Did something happen between you and Jiro recently?" I bravely inquire. She suddenly freezes by that question but just a few seconds and she regain her composure.

"Well, there is nothing about it." I give her a doubt glare.

"Is that all? Come on you can tell us. You almost know about us." I said as a matter of fact. She bends her head and lift it again.

"Uhm, he ask me to accompany him the other day--."

"You two have a date!!" Ayaka yell before Alexis can finish her statement.

"Ayaka, let Alexis finish what she will say."

"Uhm, well, uhm I accept his offer and we went to the amusement park." I doubt her innocence or this just made up?

"That's it? That's all that you did that day!?" Kannon senpai ask.

"Kannon what do you want they would do?" Meter senpai sarcastically scoff.

"Well, I'm not thinking some pervert things, didn't I?"

"We never said 'pervert' things, Kannon senpai." I scoff back. Kannon senpai give me a fake smile.

"So, that's what happen, I thought he did something to you, I'm relief now." I look at Meter senpai who is intently watching Alexis talking with Ayaka. I wonder if she has the same thought that I have. Oh well, I better observe it.

(Meter's POV) 

We were soaking here at the sauna when I notice something different about Alexis. Ritsu should've notice it too. But when I stare at Alexis there nothing wrong with her. She is just the normal girl I met before. But what is this I'm feeling? I sense something bad is going to happen. Should I keep this feeling or contain it to my curiosity? I don't know so I immerse deeper in the sauna. My thoughts awake when Ayaka started to talk about the festival.

"We should've have said this to you Kannon senpai. That we set you up at the rooftop."

"WHAT!? I knew it! You were all behind that stuff. What a lame thing you did."

"Well, Kaname senpai is in a lot of trouble because of you, so." Kannon heave a deep sigh.

"I know, sorry about that."

"But senpai, we saw what happened, is that ok?" Kannon's eyes grew bigger as she realizes what Alexis just said.

"YOU!! What did you see? What did you see!?"

"Well, beside the hug scene nothing more." Red tint in her both cheeks are visible now. I was also interested on what happen then.

"You really don't see anything beside that?"

"Nothing more. And why are blushing all of a sudden, Kannon? Did something happen to you?" I pry.

"Nothing. He just told me everything."

"I see, well that's good."

"But Meter senpai, why did you left Sho senpai in the ball?" My body stuck in the ground when I remember the reason why I left the ball.

"That is the surprised we planned for all of you." Ayaka blurt out. But I loose and turn to give her my death stare.

"What did you have said? Do you think you can get away by just revealing that right now?"

"We're sorry about ruining your plan, but we just want to help. But you left already." Right, I don't have the guts to scold them right now because I was the one who ruined it in the first place.

"It's ok, what past is past anyway." I calmly utter.

"But is it really ok with you Meter? You haven't called us or notify us what happened in past few days. Instead, Sho told us that you were sick." So, Sho cover me up this time. How many lies that he told them? I wonder. But isn't it a bit reasonable for me to accuse him even though he helped me a lot in my plights? But I don't know why he always doing that for me? Is what he said was true?

"Yeah, I was sick so I haven't inform you guys." I get out from the water to avoid their inquiries because I'm scared to tell them what really happened. What am I scared off? What am I scared off really? I don't know anymore. I don't want to think anything. My feeling right now is in chaos. And my mind is in wreck of stimulating.

"I'm going already." I said without facing them and I get change into bathrobe. I suddenly felt dizzy. Maybe because of the hot water and steam I get while I submerged longer in the water. My footsteps are heavy, I feel sleepy and my eyes are difficult to open. I slowly went to the cabin where my room is. I silently open the door and switch the light when I saw a half-naked body infront of me. Water is dripping from his wet hair. A towel is covering his lower body and another towel is hanging in his broad shoulders. I hurriedly cover my eyes with my palm.

"What do you think you are doing! Hurry up and get dress!" I command.

"Is it the first time you see me like this?" I felt his warm hands in my shoulders. I was dumfounded.

"I said to get dress! Are you deaf!?"

"Ok, I will. If you uncover your eyes." What the hell is he saying about.

"What the hell!? Just get dress! You pervert!" His laughs are echoing in my ears.

"Do you know what the meaning of that word is?"

"I don't, I don't know. But will you please get dress before I hysterically shout in here!?"

"Ok, alright. I'm just teasing you. I don't know that you will get that excited when you see me naked." The blood is rushing rapidly in my head. He was just teasing my by that? What a jerk he is. After a few moments he spoke.

"It's alright, you can open your eyes now." I uncover my eyes with my palm and this time he wears a shirt and a pajama. I hurriedly went and lay to my bed without noise. I cover my ears with the pillow and force myself to sleep.
