Chapter 35
Riker's POV:
I found Ross asleep in a chair next to her hospital bed. The doctor's told me she has a very slim chance of waking up out of her coma. She is going to die.
I walked into the room, tears streaming down my face.
"Riker, what did the doctor say?" Ross asked, tears collecting in his. I shook my head and broke down. He fell to his knees. "This is all my fault! If I hadn't let them in this would have never happened and I wouldn't be losing the love of my life." he sobbed. I walked over to him and knelt down beside him. I wrapped my arms around him and cried.
BEEEP
I looked up. She's flat lined. Ross started bawling, grabbing hold of my shirt. I sobbed with him. She's gone. Forever.
BEEP
