How exactly did I imagine them meeting each other for the first time? Definitely not one on the floor bleeding, and the other breathing in and out full of anger. This morning I felt confident and good, and could care less about what Noah would do, but punching someone to the floor wasn't what I had accepted.

Noah looked up from Bradly and met my eyes. How dare he?

"What the hell Noah?! Why'd you punch him?!" I yelled at him.

"Why?! Probably because he was asking for it?! And what the hell Janelle?" He was yelling at me, and some of his spit was landing on my face. "When were you planning to tell me you had a boyfriend?!"

I wiped away his gross saliva off my face and composed myself. "It's not like you care." I sassed at him.

""What are you talking about? Why wouldn't I? You're my-"

SLAP.

There was nothing left for me to do and try to stop him. If he finished that sentence, then I would be screwed, and I would've lost Bradly too. Noah, I could replace. But Bradly?

"You slapped me?" Noah was shocked. "Again?"

"That's for!" Gosh Janelle, find a good and believeable excuse! "For punching my boyfriend!" Good. "How dare you hurt the guy I love!" Too much?

"Love?!??!" Noah's shockness grew, and I couldn't help but glance at the pod of people gathering around us.

I heard Bradly chuckle and that's when my head snapped back together. I bent down and helped Bradly stand back up. His mouth was bleeding, but he seemed like he was going to live. Thank goodness Noah wasn't that strong.

"Yes Noah." I had to bring out my acting skills, and had to make my love for him believeable. Which in a way wasn't too hard. "I love him. In a way that is more special that the love I have for you."

Noah's eyes popped open, and then he tried to shrug it off as if it were nothing. But I could tell that he was dying with rage in the inside. Why? I had no idea. His words said something else, but his eyes told the truth.

"Im so.. happy... for you." Noah chocked out.

I couldn't stand here and keep lying to Noah. It was too painfull to see him in pain. "Noah, I think you should leave." I tried to look anywhere but his eyes as I spoke.

All I could feel after I excused Noah away, was a long arm curl around my waist, and set his hand right on top of my left hip. Bradly was hugging me in an awkward position, and pulled me to him.

"She's right," Bradly spoke directly to Noah this time. "You should just go back to where you belong." Which we all knew was the cafeteria, next to his girlfriend and the rest of their jock and popular friends.

My eyes darted to his for a split second, and it was an instant crush. I was destroyed under his gaze. His eyes full of madness, yet pain with some shockness to what had happened. It was crazy how soon I got my old best friend back, and the other one just seems to walk out on me.

Still looking directly into my eyes, he whispered, his voice full of pain. "Do you really want me go?"

"Noah," I whispered back, regretting to ever letting this get so far.

"Just tell me now."

I couldn't help my next movement. I left Bradly's side and ran up to Noah and embraced him in my arms. He returned my embrace, and this was a way to show that we were not mad at each other, he was accepting my apology.  He held me closer to him, as much as he could, and I couldn't help but whisper in his ear as low as I could, "Come over at 7. Squeeze me if yes, let me go if no."
