Chapter 26

After having lunch i quickly do my homework. It takes me an hour and a half to do them. My head hurts and i really don't feel well, i'm kind of dizzy, so i set the alarm so i have later enough time to get ready for my date, lay on my bed and quickly fall asleep.

Time's over. The alarm beeps. I turn it off and slowly get up. That afternoon nap made me good, i'm feeling much better now and ready for tonight.

I notice my cousins aren't home yet. These past days they have been here, they did tourism around the city and came home for dinner. My dad is downstairs, probably watching tv, Randye cooking and Leo, well i don't know where he is but i do know he will be here in time for our date. Wow, our date. That sounds so weird. Who would imagine i would ever go out with Leo Howard? That rude and messy boy who hated me.

I take a shower, put on make up and straight my hair, then hairstyle it on a long ponytail. I go back to my bedroom and choose an outfit. Black dress. I place in front of the mirror and start dressing. It seems like i've grown up so fast... Last month it fitted me. Well, this goes to my little cousin... Anyways i didn't like it much...

I take a black and white jumpsuit. This fits me so well. I have to admit i'm really pretty on this. I take my black high heels and my black purse.

Eight o'clock. I still don't know where Leo is but we decided to meet in ten minutes
I go downstairs in silence walking towards the door.

- Where are you going young lady? - My dad asks from the back.

- With Kelli. - I lie. - Dad look, i know i still may be grounded but she needs me on that dinner with her mom and to be stepdad. - Since when are you such a big liar Liv?
- Her mom has a new boyfriend? - He looks confused.

- His name is David. - I'm not completely lying. Kelli's mom has a new boyfriends but, i'm not going to that dinner. There's not even a dinner!

- Oh okay. - He hugs me. - Have fun and don't come back too late. You have class tomorrow. By the way, where is Leo?

- Don't worry dad i won't. - I smile. - I don't know, he might be in Ryan's house. He is already 20, an adult. He can do whatever he wants.

- It's true. Oh right then, bye Livy. - We say goodbye and i leave the house.

I look around to see if i find Leo and suddendly there he is. In his car, wearing a light blue shirt and jeans. He is hiding after some trees and a few metres down our street.

When he sees me, he gets out of the car and comes to me.

- You are bautiful. - He smiles, holds my waist and kisses me.

- So are you. - We both smile.

- Let's go. - He opens my car door and helps me get in, then he enters. Just like a real gentleman.

He looks nervous like me, although neither of us demonstrates it. He turns on some music, lay one hand on my thigh and start driving to wherever he decided to take me.
