Tyler felt immobile inside. Like his entire body stopped functioning simultaneously. He couldn't stand up, nor move his fingers. He couldn't even wiggle his toes.

He was weak. He was nothing but a pathetic, worthless, weak boy.

No matter how hard he tried he couldn't get that out of his mind. He couldn't get the fury in Josh's eyes out of his head, either. Every word that was said had been true, he was nothing. If he disappeared right now, no one would notice, no one would care. He could do it, he had the power, the gift.

You see, everyone is gifted with the power to take their life. It's up to us to fight the pain, ignite it, and to resist the wants and needs to disappear. Tyler was trying so hard to do that. He was trying, and that's when he realized something. His entire life he's made others feel the pain that's been raging inside of him. What if Josh had only been doing the same?

Tyler jumped to his feet with a sudden rage of motivation and persuation and he ran. He chased down the street that once hugged the tires of Josh's bike. He ran passed many lamp posts and many water puddles, but he'd keep running until he found Josh.
