Today is the day.
The day of days.
The day of all days.
Today is the day that you and Josh would get married.
You've had butterflies in your stomach since the minute you woke up. Today was a day that you would complete a dream.
One of the dreams almost every girl dreams of. A dream you've had most of the time you and Josh have been friends.
Today, in a word, was going to be absolutely unreal.
On top of having butterflies all morning, you haven't been able to stop smiling either.
The wedding would start at 4:00, and it was now noon. You had a whole four hours to get ready.
The things you had left to do were hair, makeup, and put your dress on.
You decided to get your makeup done first. Thankfully, your cousin was a cosmetologist, so she agreed to help you with hair and makeup.
As she was doing your makeup, you ran over the wedding plans some more in your head.
The ceremony was going to be outside under a large tree. It was almost as if it was in a miniature forest, but the trees surrounded a clearing just outside of a building where the reception would be later.
You and Josh both agreed not to have an absolutely giant wedding. Neither of you invited everyone you knew... But most of them.
Both of you thought it would be cool to have a big wedding. So you decided to do just that.
You smiled even bigger at the thought of it.
"(Y/N) you need to stop moviiiing. I don't want your face to look all uneven." Your cousin laughed.
"Fiine." You chuckled back in response, then allowing her to continue.

It was time.
The butterflies that had been in your stomach since the minute you woke up now felt as though they had doubled in quantity.
You readied yourself, and when it was finally time, you began making your way down the aisle.
Everyone stood up, and you smiled, clutching onto your bouquet like it was life support.
As you finally made it up to where Josh was, you looked up at him with a smile.
When you looked up at him, you could see his freshly dyed hair... Then you realized he was crying a little.
"You look absolutely beautiful." Josh said with a smile, wiping the tears from his eyes.
"You look pretty damn handsome yourself." You replied, getting a little emotional too.
°°°
Once the time for vows came, Josh pulled out a small piece of paper from a pocket on his tuxedo.
"Okay... I'm really bad with words so I just tried to describe this the best way I can." Josh said before beginning his personal vows.
"(Y/N), I don't know where to even begin. Trying to describe how much of a better person you make me is nearly impossible, and just when I think that you can't amaze me even further, you prove me wrong. I've known you since we were in grade school, and even then I had always dreamed of marrying my best friend. And I would like to thank you for allowing me to make that dream become a reality. I can say with all of my heart, that I love you." Josh said his vows, his voice shaky the entire time as he began tearing up again.
After Josh was finished, you pulled out a small piece of folded paper from your bouquet. You had also written your own vows.
"Josh, I would firstly like to thank you. How happy you make me is absolutely indescribable, and I couldn't ask for more. You've made a huge difference in my life ever since the day I met you. I've never been happier in my life than I am now, here with you. Even though you're a giant dork sometimes, nobody else holds a place in my heart like you do. I love you, Josh Dun. No matter what." You said your vows, and began tearing up again just like Josh did.
"Do you, Joshua Dun, take (Y/N) (L/N) to be your wife?"
"I do."
"And do you, (Y/N) (L/N), take Joshua Dun to be your husband?"
"I do."
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!"
Josh pressed his lips to yours, and everyone began clapping. It was as though you were reliving the kiss you guys shared on stage, but this was a different form of crowd.
This felt as though his lips were electricity against your own.
You grinned, and both of you pulled back from the kiss.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Dun!"
You looked up at Josh with a huge grin, and he looked at you with the same look on his face.
"I love you." "I love you too."
[I probably got the order of how things are supposed to go wrong cause I know exactly jack shit about wedding ceremonies. So I'm sorry about that >_> and this might be kind of corny at times please don't stab me)
