Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

•Chapter 8: Visiting Tyler•

Josh woke up, snuggling you in his arms. He couldn't help but smile as he kissed your forehead. You opened your eyes a little. "Morning Josh." You yawned. "Good morning (Y/N)." He replied. It was then that you recalled what happened last night. You're eyes widened a little. "What?" Josh asked, seeming kind of worried.

"You're my boyfriend." You stated. "And you're my girlfriend." Josh said, blushing a little. "You know... You're my first boyfriend." You admitted. "Really?" He asked, and sounded a little shocked. "Yea...? You sounded kinda surprised." You laughed. "It's not necessarily that. It's just, you're my first girlfriend." He laughed.

"That's actually kinda cool." You smiled, and pushed him playfully to mess with him. "Oh really?" Josh asked and laid down across your stomach, pinning you down. "Josh what are you doing?" You tickled his side to get him off of you. "Party pooper!" He stuck his tongue out at you. "Bleh!" You stuck your tongue out in response.

After breakfast, you and Josh sat on the couch. "Hey... Come here." Josh put out his hands and grabbed at the air like a little kid. "What?" You chuckled. "I wanna cuddle. I can actually ask about it now and it won't be weird." He laughed as you scooted closer to him. He wrapped his arms around you and squeezed you super tightly for a moment before just holding you. "What do you wanna do today?" You asked. "Maybe we could go see Tyler?" He suggested.

You hadn't seen Tyler for as long as you hadn't seen Josh. Ever since they left, that is. Even though you weren't as close with Tyler as you were Josh, you still missed seeing him. "Sure!" You replied, getting kind of excited. "When are you wanting to go?" You asked. "We could go now?" "Sounds fine to me!"

Josh pulled his car into Tyler's driveway. Even though you were good friends with Tyler, you were still nervous to see him. "Come on!" Josh broke you away from your thoughts, obviously excited.

Both of you walked to the front door, and Josh rang the door bell. You could hear a small "ding" as he did so, and it only took a couple seconds for the door to open. "Josh!" Tyler's eyes lit up at he pulled Josh into a hug. Just then, he realized someone else was standing with his best friend. "(Y/N)?" Tyler seemed in disbelief. "Hey Tyler!" You grinned.

Tyler instantly pulled you into a hug. "I missed you!" He squeezed you tightly. "I missed you too!" You tried to hug back just as tightly as he was hugging you, but you weren't quite as strong as he was. "Well come inside! We have tons of stuff to catch up on." He invited both of you inside

You and Josh sat down on Tyler's couch, and Tyler sat across from you on another couch. "Where's Jenna?" Josh asked curiously as he grabbed your hand, locking his fingers with yours. "She had to work today. She gets off work at-" Tyler stopped as he saw Josh grab your hand. Tyler looked from Josh, to you, and back to Josh. "Are you guys-" "Dating." Josh cut him off and finished his sentence with an answer. Josh had a huge grin on his face as he did.

"Finally! I've been waiting for this for ages!" Tyler was extremely excited. "Ages?" You asked. Although you didn't see it, Josh's eyes widened a little as he saw Tyler's mouth open. "Yea! He's liked you ever since I can remember. Like, liked you liked you. He never shut up about it! Even when you guys met up again he's been texting me non stop about you!" "Tyler!" Josh tried to get Tyler to stop talking about it, and Josh's cheeks were pink with embarrassment.

"I told him just to man up and do something about it! Thank god you guys are finally together. Even when we were younger he refused to date anyone but you. Even if he wouldn't do anything about it." Tyler chuckled. "TYLER." Josh raised his voice a little. You could see the tips of Josh's ears turn pink. "That explains why he never had a girlfriend ever since I knew him." You chuckled at Josh's reactions. "It's fine Josh. I think it's kinda cute to be honest." You couldn't help but blush as you admitted it.

After catching up with Tyler, you and Josh decided to go back home. You were halfway back to your house at this point. "So... Ever since we were little huh?" You grinned. "Y-Yea..." He admitted. "I liked you when we were little too." You laughed. "Really?" He asked. "Of course! I would never have dared to say anything about it though." You pushed yourself back into the passenger seat a little more. "Well, we're here now and that's all that matters." Josh replied with a cheesy toothish grin. "Of course." You couldn't help but laugh at the face he had made.

After parking, both of you had finally went back to the apartment. "Well, today was a good day." You flopped down on the couch, holding back a yawn. "Tired?" Josh asked. "Nah..." You couldn't help but let out a yawn this time. In return you received a skeptical look. "Really." He walked over to the couch.

Before you knew it, Josh had picked you up and had thrown you over his shoulder. "Josh what are you doing!?" You were tired but you had to admit, this definitely shook you out of it. "Well I'm just carrying my beautiful girlfriend to bed so she can get some sleep." He responded.

He carried you into his room, and tossed you into the bed. You burst into a small fit of laughter at what had just happened. "Raahhhh!" Josh made a small roaring noise as he stretched his fingers out like claws. He crawled into bed and immediately snuggled up next to you, and pulled you towards him. "Good night, Joshosaurus Rex." You chuckled. "Rah. Good night." He laughed before both of you fell asleep.
