Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

•Chapter 3: Movie Night and Breakfast•

You and Josh walked around the store, talking about everything from how the band was going to what you ate for dinner 4 days ago. You caught up on nearly everything in the other's lives.

The band had gotten really successful. You were proud of both Josh and Tyler  for doing what they love. You know it means a lot to them.

"So wanna come back to my place? We can watch movies and hang out for a little while. Like old times!" You asked. "Sure! Sounds like it'd be fun!" He replied, obviously excited to make up for lost time.

Both of you checked out at the register, and drove to my house. Josh didn't buy anything that needed tone refrigerated or frozen thank god. Thankfully it was alright to stay in the car. Once you guys got back to your apartment, you made some popcorn and began looking for a movie to watch. "This one looks good." You say, and clicked on it on Netflix. You and Josh began watching the movie, making fun of certain parts and  arguing the secrets of the plot.

"He's the dad. There's nothing else to it. He has to be." Josh said, eyes glued onto my tv screen in suspense. "No I think the other ones the dad. He knew about the letter she found even though she didn't tell anyone!" You argued, eyes also glued to the screen.

The movie was watched intently for a little while longer until it ended. "That was a good movie. I should get it on Dvd someti-" You looked over at Josh. Who was passed out on my couch. You chuckled and shook your head. After standing up, you walked to the closet, grabbing a spare blanket. You brought it back out to where Josh was and covered him up with it. The sight made you overly happy. Your best friend was finally back. "Goodnight Josh." You said and dimmed the living room light so he could see if he got up later.

You walked back into your room and changed into your pajamas. "Perfect." You yawned, and fell back into bed. You rolled around until the blanket was wrapped around you. Then you slowly began drifting into a deep sleep.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

"What the hell?" You groaned and rolled over. It only took you a couple seconds to realize that was the smoke detector. You jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen. When you got there, you found Josh frantically trying to get it to stop.

"Josh what the hell?!" You questioned, grabbing a towel and waving it in front of the beeping box. It quickly stopped as you looked to your friend for an explanation. "I wanted to make some breakfast without waking you up... And I was making toast but it was it got a little uh...burnt." He explained.

You looked over at your toaster that had smoke erupting from it. You couldn't help but laugh. "You freakin dork! You could have woken me up so I could make breakfast for both of us." "I didn't want to wake you up though. You were asleep." He replied. "Well I'm definitely awake now." You chuckled. "Let's get some breakfast."

You finished making some eggs and bacon, and put some on a plate for Josh. "Here." You sat the plate in front of him and he began eating. "Thanks!" He thanked you with a mouthful of food. You grabbed your plate and sat down beside him.

"So, are you and Tyler off tour now?" You asked. "Yea. We have a break for a while. A couple months actually! I'm pretty excited." "What are you gonna do until you go back?" "Well, I'll probably just hang out in town for a while." "Sounds cool! We can hang out until then. Like before." You smiled at the thought, and Josh nodded in agreement.

Both of you continued eating until you had finished breakfast. You grabbed his plate when he was done and began doing dishes. "I should probably get back to my hotel and unload my groceries at some point today." He laughed. "You're staying at a hotel?" You stopped doing dishes and gave him a confused look. "Y-yea.. I figured it would be kinda pointless to get settled in an apartment and then have to leave." He explained.

"Is Tyler staying with you?" You asked, hoping if he was that he wouldn't be worried that Josh didn't come back last night. "Nah. He's staying with his wife Jenna." He replied. "So you're all alone in a hotel room for 2 months?" He nodded in response.

"Do you wanna move in here?"
