•Chapter 18: Lazy Days and Anniversaries•

Home sweet home!" You threw the door to the apartment open, taking in the sight of everything.

You and Josh walked in, bringing in everything in one trip. Really, who doesn't try to do that at least once?

Once you had brought everything in and got unpacked, you and Josh both sat on the couch. You sighed, and looked over at him. He was just as tired as you were.

You stood up and stood in front of him, looking down at him with a grin. "Come on, sleepy head." You smiled at him. He never really got grumpy when he was tired or anything. Never acted any different whatsoever. But to you, sleepy Josh was super cute.

Josh grumbled tiredly, and stood up. "Whaaat." He yawned. "Come on." You grabbed his hand, and led him back to the room you decided was his room. At this point, it seemed like an unofficial agreement that it was both of your rooms. It was an 'ours' thing.

You had pulled Josh into bed, and pulled the blanket over both of you. When you had both got settled into bed, Josh pulled you close to him as usual. This time though, he held you close to him and rolled a little so that he was on his back. You were laying on Josh's chest. You had to admit, this was pretty comfortable too.

"Naps with you are probably one of my favorite things." Josh admitted. "One of your favorite things?" You asked. "I mean, kissing you is pretty awesome." Josh laughed. In response, you raised your head and pressed your lips to his in a small kiss. "Well boom. Naps and kisses." You laughed, laying your head back into his chest.

"Absolutely perfect." Josh said, rubbing your back in small circles. Eventually, Josh rubbing your back slowly put you to sleep.

"Heeey...." Josh's voice made its way to your ears. "(Y/N).... Wake up, sleeping beauty." Josh chuckled, his chest rumbling a little with laughter.

You let out a yawn, and looked up, now resting your chin on his chest. "Morning Josh." You grinned. "Morning is right." He laughed. You hadn't processed the fact that you slept for nearly 12 hours. "Man... I'm sleepy still." You chuckled. "Me too." Josh agreed.

"You know what today is?" He asked curiously. You just nodded excitedly... Well, as excitedly as someone could nod considering you just woke up from a pretty long "nap".

"Happy one year anniversary, Josh." You smiled at him. "Happy one year anniversary, (Y/N)." Josh said, kissing your forehead.

You sat up, and scooted up on Josh's stomach a little so you would be able to kiss him. A grin spread across your face.

You leaned down, and pressed a soft yet rough kiss onto Josh's lips. Immediately, he kissed back, and ran his hands up your back as if to pull you closer.

You guys kissed like this for a while, and Josh's hands slowly worked their way down your back so that his hands were resting on your butt.

You began pulling back from the kiss, and as you did, Josh pulled on your bottom lip gently.

Once you had both pulled back from the kiss, you both looked at each other for a moment. "Wow." You looked down at him, almost in awe at the chills that you were feeling from that.

After gathering yourselves, Josh began talking about today's plans. "Did you have anything picked out to do today? Or can we have a lazy day?" Josh asked, enthusiastic about the second option. "Since we were gonna be getting back from your the day before, I meet really planned on doing anything. I was basically planning a lazy day." You admitted.

"Sounds awesome!" Josh said excitedly. "Can we sleep a little more though? I'm still kinda tired." He yawned, laying his head back down. "I'm perfectly alright with sleeping some more." You chuckled, laying your head back onto Josh's chest.

Josh was asleep, and you were still laying on top of his chest. Nothing bad had been keeping you awake though, as tired as you were.

You were thinking of the bond you and Josh shared with each other. It was a new level of closeness now that you had began saying "I love you" to each other. You two don't say it overly often now. It was only saved for certain times that were right. To you two, those weren't words to fling around.

It made you feel special that you could be this close to someone and not argue with them or anything. You looked at Josh's sleeping face and couldn't help but smile. "I love you, Joshua." You planted a kiss on the middle of his chest before laying your head on his chest where you had kissed it.

His heartbeat lulled you to sleep, and you ended up falling asleep with a smile on your face at the sound.
