Finally Found You (Josh Dun x Reader)

•Chapter 14: Concerts and Kisses•

[This chapter moves very quickly for the first half.]

You were able to request quite a bit of time off to go see the concert. Now you were pulling into the airport, with the back of Josh's car full of your things.

It didn't take long to get all of your stuff unloaded, and after only a short while you were on your flight.

You were wheeling your suitcase to the car that was supposed to pick you up. It sounded weird that you were bringing a suitcase for a concert, but you were going to stay in Pennsylvania for a couple days since the boys were staying for a couple days too.

The car finally picked you up, and took you to a hotel that was nearest to the venue. The closer time it got, the more excited you got. You were going to see Josh.

Now it was time for the concert. You were jittery with excitement at this point. You couldn't stop smiling. The thought of seeing Josh was overwhelming. You got ready and tried to look extra nice, and left to catch your cab.

Tyler said he had arranged for you to be in the front row, and man he wasn't lying. You were front and center. Well, not center center of course. You were more on the side where Josh was going to be. You were super excited to surprise him like this because you knew he wouldn't expect it.

The boys haven't come out on stage yet, so everyone was standing around talking. You looked at your phone, going through random messages.

Suddenly, you got a text from Josh.
"About to go out on stage for the Pennsylvania show! Wish me luck!" You smiled at the text, and everyone began screaming.

Your head shot up, and you saw Tyler and Josh run out onto the stage. At the sight of Josh, your heart fluttered a little and time seemed to stop. Finally.

You looked up at the stage with a giant grin.

The boys had played a couple songs by now, and you were extremely impressed by all of it. They were doing a kickass job.

You were cheering for them, and getting pretty fired up about it.

Right now they were just finishing up 'Ride' and you Josh had just taken his shirt off before the song. Damn.

Near the end of the song, you began cheering. This seemed to catch Josh's attention a little. His eyes widened a little as he looked out in the crowd.

Your eyes met his.

And the biggest grins crossed both of your faces.

Josh fades out earlier than he was supposed to, and Tyler noticed, and faded out too. Tyler follows Josh's gaze, and sees you in the crowd.

"It's about time you noticed her." Tyler smiled. The crowd seemed confused but you didn't mind. "Come on up here (Y/N)!" Tyler invited you up, but you were a little nervous. "Oh come on. Josh wants to see you." Tyler wiggled his eyebrows a little, and the crowd laughed. "Can we get security to escort her up here?"
