"—then we'll set a plan B if we'll fail. Uunahin muna natin ang plan A for Lucy and when her mission starts, we'll be having another meeting with Master for the plan B—"

Tumigil sa pagsasalita si Luisa nang mapatingin siya sa 'kin—no, it wasn't me. I'm inside someone's body, again.

"Aldrin, could you please close your mind? Luvina's here. Hindi dapat niya marinig 'to."

When the eyes of someone's body blinked, I got up from my short nap and saw Jesse lying on her queen sized bed. Nakatulog pala ako mula sa pagbabantay sa kaniya.

I got up from my seat and leaned closer to her. I put the back of my palm on her forehead and felt the burning sensation from her skin. Masyadong mainit ang katawan niya. Pakiramdam ko hindi na tama 'to. She needs to go to hospital.

"Lucy ako na magbabantay kay Hanna. Matulog ka na."

Mario came inside holding a tray with a bowl of soup. Nilapag niya 'yon sa gilid ng lamesa ni Jesse at umupo sa malambot na kama.

"Soup? Mario, kailangan niya ng gamot. Ang taas ng lagnat, oh."

Ngumiti lamang si Mario at binaling ang tingin kay Jesse. Niyugyog niya ang balikat ni Jesse at nang magising, sinubuan siya ni Mario ng sopas.

I watch Mario feed Jesse with soup. Hindi ko kayang iwan sila dito lalo na't hindi pa umiinom ng gamot si Jesse.

What if it gets worse? It's better if we'll go to the nearest hospital. She's sick and when estimate the measurement of her temperature, lagpas na sa thirty-eight degrees. Kasing init na siguro ng nagaalab na apoy ang temperatura niya.

"Lucy," Mario called while he's busy feeding Jesse. "Vampires get sick but there's a big difference with humans. Kapag ang normal nating temperatura ay kasing lamig ng freezer, kasing init naman ng bulkan kapag nagkasakit tayo. Ayos lang si Hanna kaya h'wag ka nang magalala. Normal lamang 'to para sa 'tin."

I nodded even if he couldn't see me. Lumapit ako sa pintuan at pinihit ito pabukas. Muli akong humarap kay Mario at Jesse bago lumabas. I haven't tried having a fever that's why I didn't know that.
