Sapphire's POV

"Dad?!" I yelled as I enter inside the house. The house fell silent which made me uncomfortable. Where is he now? I thought the Mystery Guy said my dad is home. Confused. I'm confused.

"Dad?! Are you home?!" I yelled once again, but received no answer. Where the hell is he?

"Oh hey Sapphire! Sorry I hadn't seen you there, I was talking on the phone" Dad said as he went down the stairs. Oh? I just frown.

"Who is it?"

"Your mother"

I gasp soflty, hoping he wouldn't hear it. My mom is fine? She's okay? I felt my heart beat in joy after hearing those, revealing my mom is fine.

"W-what did she say?" I asked.

"Nothing important, look I need to go. I'll call you later okay?" He said as he kissed my forehead and went outside. Huh? Is he in rush? I watch him went out the door and close it behind him, while me, I just stay silent. Is he ignoring me? B-but my mom?

Don't mind him Sapphire, Dad must be busy...

I sigh in frustration. Of course, always busy, every fucking day.

And I'm alone again.

With him.

I directly went upstairs slowly but when I reach my room, my door is open. Huh? I took a few steps towards my room but once I was inside, the door behind me close by itself. I jump in fright. Shit.

Then suddenly, I was thrown on the wall like a trash and a hand suddenly connects my neck, chocking me once again. Only one person I know who would do this to me.

I wince in pain, as I felt something on my back. Fuck, it hurts. I open my eyes slowly then spotted the Mystery Guy in front of me, growling with his eyes full of anger and I can really tell that he's furious even if his eyes were black. What did I do now?

He just got his perfect timing because Dad left off. Of course.

He gripped my neck harder cause me to gasp. Shit, I hate this feeling. I felt like dying.

"What did you do?!"

He yelled angrily. What the fuck is he talking about?!

"Fucking tell me now!"

He throw me once again on the other side of the wall and gasp loudly. I felt myself slide down and hit the floor slowly. I cried. Fuck this shit. What the hell does he want now?

"Tell me now Sapphire!"

Then he grab my hair forcing me to look at him and I groan. I yelp in pain.

"W-what s-should I tell you?" I asked soflty cause him to grip my hair harder. Oh fuck, just kill me. I'm so tired.

"Why the hell your mom is still alive? She must be dead right now!"

What? The curse didn't work on her? But how?

"Ever since you got here, everything changed. I stopped killing people because my main is you. And now my curse? My fucking curse?! I heard your father talking to that bitch awhile ago and I know you know that. But why is she still alive?! Why?!"
