Sapphire's POV

"Sapphire Gatessss!!!! What exactly you think you're doing?!"

Mom yelled in the middle of nowhere cause me to jolt up and look around me, panicking. Then I spotted Mom, crossed arms. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What is wrong with you?! Can't you see I'm sleeping!" I groan as I buried my face into my pillow. I hate mom. I hate her, for waking me up.

Ughhh!!!

"Get up there young lady and unpack your things, I'll check it later do you got me?" Then I hear her footsteps starts to fade away from my room, maybe going downstairs. This is so annoying.

I stand up from my bed, groaning and annoyed of what I'm going to do today. Unpacking. Very nice, very nice. Note the sarcasm please.

I get my backpack and unzip it as I take out my clothes. I put them in my drawer properly after I put my bag on the side. I put my few things in the side table and stop. I should beatify this room later. Just not now. I'm lazy.

That's when I didn't notice, a voice echoed through my room. I froze.

"You're new here aren't you?"

My eyes widen after I hear those words cause me to look around me. There's no one in here isn't it? Only me right? Oh my gosh, what if I really am hearing voices or things?! This is not good.

"Pity."

I gasped. "Who are you?" I nervously asked. I still looked around me, but still saw nothing. Is he invisible? Or a freaking ghost? Oh goodness no.

I closed my eyes and put my both hands onto my ears, praying this would be over soon.

"Please, please go away. I don't want you here" I pleaded. I didn't stop though. I kept repeating and repeating it. I am scared, really scared. Maybe I waited there for about a minute after opening my eyes again and found... Nothing. I frowned.

Is he really invisible?

"Sapphire Gates are you-"

"Mom don't scare me!" I exclaimed, touching my chest, trying to calm myself down. I sigh. She always gave me scare jumps. And its getting on my nerves!

"What is wrong with you young lady? Are you finish unpacking-" "Yeah, yeah, I'm done unpacking my clothes. I'm just going to beautify this place later" I said cutting her off. I directly get downstairs and get myself a glass of water.

That was horrible. Who is talking to me? Who is he? What is he? Oh my gosh! Ugh! Whatever Saf, just shrug it off again will ya?

But the voice. Its the voice who I heard inside the car earlier. The deep, dark and raspy one. It has to be him. He's the one who say, just stay okay. I can tell it by his voice, its very obvious. Ohhhh my gosh, I can't take this anymore.

"Why did you just leave like that young lady? Are you being rude now?" My mother asked as I stare at her. "Mom, this place is creepy, as in very creepy" I said.

"Is that so?" She asked, taking herself to the kitchen as I followed her behind.

"Yes it is. Even the name of this town gives me creeps. Aren't you hearing voices now?" I asked confusedly to her. "No I'm not my love. Maybe its just your imagination"

"But mom, they seemed real! I heard this voice once in the car, now in my room, not so long ago after you get in" I snap. My mom just stared at me with furrowed eyebrows. Looking at me like a weird daughter. I roll my eyes and put my arms across my chest.
