So....I managed to finally get to this one. Let's see how many people agree with me. XD

I think it's slightly overrated.

Don't kill me just yet, I do like it to an extent, but it's like what I think of Frozen. The movie is really good but people have been singing "Let it Go" so many times to the point where I'm just avoiding the movie whenever I can.

That being said, I do like the chemistry between Marinette and Adrien. I especially like Adrien because he's far from the typical nice rich kid. Yeah, his mom is dead (or missing, I don't think they clarified it) and his father is kind of a douche but the poor guy has been homeschooled for the majority of his life. He's a famous model, but he doesn't get the chance to be a normal kid. And that's what he wants, a normal life, with friends.

I think the origin episode really set things straight for him.

Also, I do find Plagg hilarious with his love of cheese and Tikki's relationship with Marinette is adorable.

I absolutely love the fanart, although there is the same theme of Marinette and Adrien finding out about the other's identity as Ladybug and Chat Noir respectively. There's an especially favorite one of mine with Volipina (I think that's how you spell it) that took place during the season finale.

I feel like Marinette could be a even better character if I'm being honest. Not that she's a bad character, but I do feel like I'm seeing the typical clumsy girl with a heart of gold type thing. That being said, I do feel like there should be a little bit more of her contemplating over her choices as a superhero during the course of the series. She's growing as a superhero but her dilemas as one aren't really being explored that much.

That may be just me though, and it really depends on how you look at this show. If you're just looking for some episodic fun, you'll find it. But if you want the over arching story to be given a little more focus from the beginning, I guess we're going to have to wait a little bit longer because I can see slight notices that the story is moving forward, especially with the origins episode and the 2nd (?) season finale. Who knows? Maybe it'll be the next Steven Universe in terms of an overarching plot.

Um, I really don't have much to say tbh. As far as the cons of the fandom, I really don't see anything else cringe worthy like MPL or anything so that was good...

At this point, with the fandom being fairly new, I can say that it's worse or its better. But I do hope that it won't go into the extremes. Trust me, that's the last thing I want.

Although, I do have to point out that the hype mainly comes from the ship and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it does take way some of the intrigue when you start watching the show.

One last thing before I end this because I'm not that far into the fandom to talk about it in depth: The English dub is okay at best. Original French all the way.

I totally have to see Totally Spies in French though.

Pretty much what I have so far. I'll probably add more once the series picks up pacing wise and......OOOOOOH I have a good idea! Since I wasn't  able to add much, fandom wise, what do you guys think of it? I'll add your opinions in the chapter and it'll also give me an idea how the fandom is like! :D

Next rant is probably going to be another Harry Potter rant or about the Scooby-Doo movies since Zombie Island. Sayonara until then! :D
