sometimes, I wonder.
If I were a muggle, would Tuney still like me? We used to be the best of friends. I can still remember the change of heart.
I woke up to the sound of knocking on my door. I open my eyes, and then excitedly remember: It's my birthday!
I open the door and see Petunia.
"Tuney! Its my birthday!" I exclaim.
She gives me a bone crushing hug. "I know, Kiddo! I know! Mum and Dad are downstairs with the best cake ever!"
I gasp. "Cake! Come on, let's go eat the cake!" I run down the stairs with her close behind. We get into the kitchen just as Mum puts the seventh candle on it.
"It's my birthday," I singsong. Dad pulls me into a hug. "Happy birthday, Lily!"
"Thanks Dad. Where's the cake?"
Petunia laughed. "You really want cake, don't you?"
I nod eagerly. Now dad joins the laughter. "No cake for you," he says, pointing a finger at me.
I pout. "But I want cake!"
Mum finishes decorating her cake and says, "You can have all the cake you want."
A smile returns onto my face. "Yay! Cake!"
The rest of the day, we all played games and laughed and had fun. Petunia had given me the best present. She helped me prank Dad and Mum, and we smiled together.
