The Hogsmede trip was coming up on just one week! I'm so excited! Who to go with, I do not care, but still! Hopefully James doesn't ask me, he has been asking me to go out with him every day since the beginning if the school year. Everyone says, 'say yes!' Because, to them, his "dreamy" eyes and "perfect" hair are endearing. Ha. If that was true

Dinner was almost over and I decide to go to my dorm early. I get up, and am about three feet from the door when...

"LILY EVANS!"

I turn around to see Potter standing on the Gryffindor table. Everyone else turns towards him too.

"What, Potter?" I ask in a clearly irritated voice

"LISTEN, I KNOW WE HAVEN'T BEEN ON THE BEST OF TERMS," he shouts. "BUT WILL YOU GO TO HOGSMEDE WITH ME?"

it takes me a moment to process what he said. Well, there goes my wish of him not asking me.

"You already know what my answer is, James." His eyes light up. "No." I continue, and the hope in His eyes is extinguished.

Everyone starts booing.

When I can't take it anymore I yell, "FINE! But only because everyone wants me to. Not because I want to. Got it, Potter?" Everyone starts cheering

He nods, clearly ecstatic, and I swiftly walk out the the door.
