"Lily, why are you wearing my sweatshirt?" I ask.

"Not yours anymore," she singsongs.

"What do you mean? It was always and still is mine."

She shakes her head, smiling.

"Okay, new question. How did you get my sweatshirt?"

"I stole it," she says innocently.

"Okay, good enough. Can I have it back?"

"No."

Sirius comes over, with Marlene in his shadow.

"Anyway," Lily continues. "Why should I give back your sweatshirt if it has my name on it?"

She spins abruptly on her toes and walks away. As she leaves, I see the word POTTER crossed out and replaced with EVANS.

Sirius chuckles. "Of course she would do that."

Marlene agrees, "seems like something she would do."

As payback, I prank her dormitory. Me and Sirius perch outside it to watch.

As she walks towards her door, we can barely contain our snickers from our hiding place.

Marlene and Lily stop at the door.

Lily looks up, subtly.

"Marlene," Lily says. "Do you mind going in first?"

Marlene obliges and as the bucket of water dumps over her, she scoffs, offended.

"Lily!" She exclaims.

"Don't blame me!" Lily protests. "Blame your boyfriend. The two are hiding right there." She points in our direction.

Me and Sirius quietly debate to run or not.

Too late.

As me and Sirius surrender, Lily smirks. I glare at her, but my heart isn't into it.

"How did she figure it out?" Padfoot whispers to me, discreetly.

"I honestly don't know."
