I was looking at her sleeping figure as the doctor checked her condition. Her long black hair lost its shine and now sprawled all over the pillow. Her eyes closed, preventing me to see those big m, brown eyes.

I couldn't help but to feel pity and guilt.

I caused this.

"How is she?" I said, not taking my eyes off her.

"She's fine. No need to worry, Mr. Dela Vega. Just minor injuries and a bit of concussion."

"Then why isn't she awake?"

"Dahil sa gamot na binigay namin. You told me that she's currently suffering from amnesia..." I nodded. "Her brain is still trying to recover and I need to still do further exams for that pero hindi namin magagawa 'yon hangga't tulog siya. Nevertheless, I can assure you that everything else on her is in right condition. She should be waking up around noon."

Noon? I should be driving to Cebu instead.

I waited for the doctor to leave before I called Naomi. Hindi ako pwedeng magbantay sa kanya. Kinapa ko ang bulsa ko. Dämn it! Where's my phone.

I silently cursed when I remembered putting it down in the taxi.

How am I suppose to call someone?

I entered the passcode and dialed Naomi's number.

T'was my birthday.

"I'm sorry, Seven. I have a lot of works to be done. I'm sorry but I can't leave right now."

"She's your sister for God's sake, Naomi. She got into an accident and in the hospital...unconscious. Hindi ka ba nag-aalala!?"

"I am. She'll be okay."

"This is too much. I can't take care of her anymore."

"Please, Seven. Ikaw lang ang makakatulong sa kapatid ko. Take care of her, please."

I'm frustrated. I'm trapped here at wala akong magawa para iwanan siya.

It was Sunday. Maro and I was supposed to be back to Manila pero andito parin ako.

I told him to go to Cebu and check on Maro. Tignan kung anong problema at solusyonan.

I personally wanted to do that but I was stuck. Not to mention that I couldn't call Maro dahil hindi ko kabisado ang number niya.

With every minute passed, I'm getting more worried.

I'm tired, uneasy and drowsy.

I hate this. I hate being stuck like this. I hate being controlled by the situation. Damn it! I need to do something.
