Intertwine (Strings of Fate) Chap. 19

(Meter's POV) 

We are at a private restaurant where we plan to make our operation.

"So, for tomorrow, what plan do you have on your minds?" I started the conversation.

"I suggested, we abduct them and seclude them in an isolated area where no one can find them." Ayaka was first to suggest.

"But, that's old tactic, Ayaka. What if someone sees us, and beside there are lots of people tomorrow." I answered.

"Meter senpai is right about that." Kohei senpai said.

"What if we trap them into a couple game?" Yuji said sarcastically.

"That is pretty obvious, Yuji. They will probably escape that one." Sho said and crossed his arms in his chest.

"Then, what if in the ball we match them for the grand prize for an overnight date." Jiro suggested.

"Is that even more obvious that we set them up?" Kohei scoff.

"What else can we do?" Ayaka said while eating her chocolate parfait.

"Hmm, we can do the ball because after all it's a masquerade ball. But, what if we start at the parade."

"What do you mean Alexis?" I asked.

"I think I have a better idea."

(Kannon' POV) 

I woke up late this morning, today is the rest day so that we can fully prepare for tomorrow's celebration. I pick up my phone from the side table to call Meter.

"Hello, Meter where you are right now?"

"I'm not in the house right now. I have a business engagement so I'm quite busy."

"Oh, is that so? Then I won't bother you. Bye." Therefore, Meter is not free today. I dialed another number on my phone.

"Hello, Ritsu are you busy right now?"

"Yes Kannon senpai, I'm at the spa right now, because my hahawe (mother) drag me."

"Ah, is that so? Ok, enjoy then." Then, Ritsu is not free today also. I dialed again on my phone, I hope she's free today.

"Hello, Ayaka are you free today?"

"Kannon senpai you called? I'm sorry senpai I'm helping my father right now in police station." Weird.

"Ah, it's ok, take care." Even Ayaka is not free today, I guess they're busy. Lastly I dialed up another number on my phone.

"Hello, Alexis do you have something to do today?"

"Yeah senpai, I'm with my close friend right now."

"Ah, is that so? Ok then, have some fun." I thought today was a rest day, why is everybody have something to do right now? And I don't? There is nothing to do right now in the house. Should I go somewhere else? Well, maybe, I don't like to stay at home the whole day.

(Alexis' POV) 

That was close. Kannon senpai called us while we are having our meeting. Thank goodness that we have our own alibis to her.

"Why is Kannon senpai calling us?" Ayaka asked.

"Does she notice that we are lying to her?"

"Of course not Ayaka, we have strong alibis, just pretend she didn't called us." I suggested.

"So, that was our plan for tomorrow. Then, we have to prepare for now and get all the things done before they notice it." So after the meeting it was already lunch time so we dine in the same restaurant for less hustle in time. After that, we go straight to the school and seek for things we need to set up our hideous plan.

(Kannon's POV) 

(Sigh)Why is everyone not free today? Am I the one who's doing nothing? Oh yeah I'm currently in the shopping district. I don't know why but I can't stay at home all day so I decided to take a walk or shop at the same time. I went to a dress shop to buy some new clothes. I also went to the small stall of toys I always go. Remember that time? This is the same stall me and my parents always go. It's not a simple stall because inside they have a small café. Yes, a toy store and at the same time a café. So, I like it here whenever I feel down or lonely. I went in the establishment and seat beside the glass window where I can see people in the street. I miss this, it's been a long time since I last came here. That was also the last I'm with Kaname, before we separate our ways. A few moments, a maid come to me to take my order. It is almost lunch at that time.

"Irrashai, ojou-sama what are your orders?" I look up to her before I speak.

"Uhm, one omelet rice and hot coffee, please."

"Ok, just wait for your orders ojou-sama." Later then, they serve my orders and I started to scoop the omelet rice. Then suddenly the café's bell ring and a familiar guy went inside the stall slash café. I avert my eyes before he can catch me staring at him. Misfortunate, he walk towards my direction and went straight to the vacant seat behind me.

"Are you alone too?" He asked without turning to face me.

"So what?" I said sarcastically.

"Then, we are the same. Also the boys are busy right now so I can't bother them to come with me."

"Is that so?" We still remain silent all this after even after I finish eating. I stand up from my seat and went to the cashier to pay for my food, but before I can hand her the bill a person behind me suddenly speak.

"I'll pay for the two of us." Kaname said while handling the bill to the startled cashier.

"I can pay for myself, so you don't have to treat me." He looks down on me because my height was way too small for him, but he just reply me with his signature smile.

"Sir, is she your kanojou?(girlfriend)."

"Yes, she is." My eyes widened by his statement to the cashier.

"Uhm, no you--." Before I can defend myself from his lies, he covers my mouth with his bare hand. He smiles at the cashier who is right now fantasizing Kaname's good looks. Before I know it, we are exiting the stall. I drastically let go of his hand on my mouth.

"Let go of me, you jerk!" I shout at him.

"What? I didn't do anything." He defends.

"You didn't do anything? What did you say to the cashier a while ago? It's not even true." I retorted.

"Then let's make it happen then, so that we don't have to pretend." He said, as his smirk never leaves his face. The blood was forming on the top of my head and my ears and nose is smoking from anger.

"Who you think you are? I don't remember being your girlfriend or whatsoever." I clench my fist.

"The day we first met, I think." Memories of the past came rushing in my view as these images of mine is flashing on my mind. Of course I remember, I couldn't forget that.

"See, I told you. Don't worry, you will not wait anymore, sooner or later. I will bring back the old Kannon who I fall in love with." I stare at his handsome face, his eyes were not lying this time that gives a nostalgic sensation. My heart suddenly skips a beat and go crazy as time goes by.

"What are you talking about?" I didn't get his reply but instead he descend his head and plant a kiss on my forehead.

"Goodbye for now, Kannon."
