“Amen” ma said after I said my grace.

I dug in my food, bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and milky tea…yum!

“So remember when I was chatting with Mrs Okhlama the first day?…” ma asked

“Yeh” I frowned sipping my tea

“Well…I went to Mrs Okhlama’s after you left for school yesterday, you see… we’d ordered a quick delivery for the house… and it arrived yesterday, and Elizabeth…that’s her name” ma explained

I nodded.

 “Well…she offered that her boy and his friends could help me with the decorating, so I said yes…only if I would pay them of course…no one likes working for free, especially me.” Ma pointed out

 I laughed nervously…why was Gevone involved…oh gosh.

“So then, their boy Gevone and his friend Drey suggested a few things you might like, like that black…black berry? Was it?” ma asked

“Yeh…black berry”

 “Yes…so I got it, Gevone and Drey brought their friends who helped a lot…we even got it all done in time for me to set off to work. Aren’t they such sweet boys?” Ma smiled

I nodded speechlessly…so yesterday Gevone was saying he had plans…plans to help ma?.

“Baby I’m so happy you like it all.” Ma blabbed

“Thanks so much ma…I love it all!” I smiled.

“That’s good, because, I…I’m going somewhere tonight, I wont be back till late” Ma scratched her nose. I frowned

“You working late again?” I asked

“Yes…no, something like that…a member at work invited me for dinner” Ma looked away from me.

“Is it a man?” I asked

Ma nodded.

“So its…A date” I said dully.

“Well…yeah, you could say-“

“Ma, you always get yourself hurt, you love too easily” I explained. She’d promised to stay on the low low with men.

“I know baby…he just seems…right” Ma looked so hopeful

If it was me in her situation ma would support me…so I’ll support her.

“Wow…how quick is that though?” I asked with a laugh

“I know!, I just found my self saying yes!” Ma looked so cute, so alive and happy again, I just hoped she was right about his guy.

“Wait…does he know about me?” I asked.

“Yes of course, he’s a single parent also. He has a daughter about your age and two twin boys of seven years.” Ma looked at the watch “better go Hun.” She kissed my fore head.

“Bye ma…have fun!” I called as she walked out of the door with a ‘will do’ I finished my breakfast, while on my BB on fb

I had a lot of likes and comments on our photos on facebook.

I laughed a Jerome’s one saying step back…boss coming through…

It was a picture of me and bree on web cam we were standing up, leaning forward, with a wink, one hand on the hip and one saluting. I looked really good. It was UN real, Bree looked hot as usual, but I noticed me before her. I found myself staring at me. Black and Dark red wavy hair, eyeliner and mascara and nice red lipstick…the outfit I chose was grey, pink and yellow patterned leggings and a pink tight vest top saying Bff on it. I had on a big gold chair around my neck. I didn’t realise something casual could look so good, I mean, bree and I were just playing around.
