"Wait, we need to go back by foot?" Yui asked.

"Yeah, I don't think I could get a ride back in this time of day." Haru said, pointing at his hand watch that showed it was 11 PM.

"But we'll be home by one! My mom will kill me!" Yui said, starting to panic.

"Relax, Saito will just open the window and pull you in." Haru assured her.

"But..."

"Nothing bad is gonna happen. Just trust me." He smiled at her.

She frowned and crossed her arms. She put her hand in his and sighed in annoyance. She just knew that Haru grinned to himself.

"Need my protection?" He commented.

"Shut up." She growled.

They walked down the dark streets. The only sound heard was the wind. The scenery was creepy and Yui couldn't wait for them to just get out of that. The west side was just plain eery.

Haru took a left turn on the street. There was a very small alley way.

"Haru, this doesn't look safe..." Yui whispered.

"Nothing happened to me before, so it won't happen now." Haru said and just continued.

They continued walking in silence.

"Are you going to turn them in?" Haru asked after a while.

Yui couldn't see his face. He was walking in front of her, the only thing connecting them were their intertwined hands. His voice was oddly serious.

"No." Yui said firmly.

....

"How come?" Haru asked after some more silence.

"I'm already saving the life of one demon." Yui said, reffering to her brother.

"So if I outed another demon, it wouldn't be fair. I'm breaking the law anyway." Yui stated confidently, looking down at her feet.

She sensed her arm getting squeezed slightly.

"Thank you." He whispered.

They were walking for quite a while through that dark alley way. They finally came to a door. Inside was a hall of rooms.

"Okay, we just need to go to the other side. It's shorter this way." Haru explained.

"And more dangerous?" Yui questioned.

"Not at all."

"You're lying."

"Maybe..."

Yui frowned. This is gonna end badly.

Just when they were going to the last door Yui heard sounds of rustling from one of the rooms.

"W-What was that?" Yui whispered, starting to get a bit panicky.

"I'm sure it's n-nothing." He stuttered, all of his bravery fading away.

"I don't think it's nothing!" Yui whisper yelled.

Just then the door from one of the rooms went flying into the wall. A very dark figure ran outside in inhumanly fast speed. It's movements were very jerking and quick.

Yui realised what just happened.

A very pale face was seen slowly turning toward them. A huge sharp toothed grin was on it. It's red eyes glowed in the dark. Silent insane cracking laughter was heard. Then she realized what happened.
