CH.11 Telling the Parents

Marco Pov (speciallll chappie!!!!)

Telling my mom and dad that me and Star were dating was going to be the hard part.

I didn't know if they were going to be okay with it or not.

Star and I talked and laughed the whole way home.

She was honestly the most interesting person I ever met.

Next to Jackie.

Jackie Lynn Thomas.

Hopefully being in love with Star will help me disintegrate my crush on Jackie.

Before we knew it, we were in front of my house.

We had discussed this when we were riding to the school. Star looked worried again.

Grabbing her hand soothingly I said, "Star, It'll be okay. They are really laid back. Don't sweat it." I offered a smile and she lightened up a little.

We walked hand in hand to the front door. We walked in and were greeted by my parents.

"Ah! Marco! We are so glad to have you back!" My mom smiled and my dad looked down at our hands intertwined.

"Marco? Is Star okay? Why are you holding her hand?"

I gulped and looked at my feet. "There's actually something I need to tell you guys."

"Marco, just tell us." My mom reassured.

"Me and Star, well..." I started.

"We are sort of um..." Star continued

"Dating..." We finished together, breathing out.

My dad's emotionless face changed into one of anger.

"Dad?"

He marched up the stairs and walked into Star's room.

"DAD!" I called up at him.

He was throwing Star's stuff down the stairs.

20 minutes later, he charged down the stairs.

"You," he said, pointing to Star. "Will no longer live here!"

She grabbed her stuff and ran out of the house crying.

"Really, Dad! Why do you have to do that!"

"I will not have you sleeping in the same house as your girlfriend! At least not under my roof!" He boomed.

I scoffed and ran after Star, tell her to slow down and wait.

eventually she collapsed on a park bench by Stop & Slurp. I sat down next to her, holding her in my arms.

I guess my dad wasn't as laid back as I thought he was.

But it must be to have cliff hangers!

It leaves surprises!
