By the time everyone was back at the lake house, it was around 1 pm, meaning that because neither Nate or William decided to tell me they made lunch, I didn't get anything to eat. Tragic.
I am currently sitting on one of the larger sofas, staring intently at the television as a rerun of Friends played. It might have looked like I was interested in the episode but I've probably seen it about 8 times, and my mind was preoccupied with other things.
Other things meaning William, ugh.
Olivia and Cam sat opposite me, cuddling into each other, yet they still claim to be just friends.
Violet was in her room, she said she had to send a paper into her History teacher that was due a couple days ago or she would fail the class, which means she's currently typing it out. Violet usually left school work to last minute, it's usually me or Olivia who get it done as soon as we get it, purely for the fact that failing our classes is truly terrifying.
The twins went outside to the patio with Amelia about 20 minutes ago, to 'explore' as Nathaniel said, even though the patio is rather small and apart from a small table, some deck chairs, a heater and a hot tub, is empty.
Nate, William and now Joe are all down in the basement as they discovered a pool table, which got them over excited.
The theme tune to friends started to play, which broke me from my thoughts. I reached for the remote and stood up, making the blanket that was around my waist fall to the floor. I quickly picked it up and sat it on the sofa and looked towards Cam and Olivia.
"Do you guys wanna watch something? I'm gonna go find something to do" I slightly blew out hair in an attempt to laugh.
Olivia frowned and took the remote, "Darc. are you okay baby?"
"What? Yeah, I'm good" I gave her a reassuring smile and turned towards to basement, walking down the stairs and hearing the low chuckles of my brother and his two friends, obviously preoccupied with other things.
"Heyyy Darc came" Nate Stumbled over to me, putting his arm around my small shoulders, making me almost lose my balance because of the weight of him.
"Are you serious, it's not even four pm yet and he's drunk?" I looked towards my brother who giggled.
My brother, Joe Oliver, the guy that's always trying to be tough. He just giggled.
"Is he drunk too?" I raised my eyebrow and turned to William who looked back at me, something unrecognisable showing in his eyes.
"Oh god, don't tell you're drunk too?" I sighed, pushing Nate off of me and sitting him on the stairs.
"No, I had like two cans babe, I'm completely sober, but the only way I could get your brother to loosen up was to let him get drunk, and Nate's just a fucking idiot" William started taking steps towards me, stopping as his sentence stopped and frowned at Nate, which he drunkenly returned with a large grin making me laugh.
"Okay, both of those are true" I laughed, stepping over Nate, heading towards the top of the stairs.
"Where are you going?" I heard William's voice behind me, followed by footsteps.
