Chapter 123: Where Stardust Lands

Start from the beginning

Kook gasps, scandalized, "HOW DARE-okay, yes."

Jin hyung walks by, throws an arm around Joon hyung, and pauses to look at us all with the softest smile I've ever seen.

"Look at our artists," he says like he's watching a dream unfold.

Y/N noona nestles beside me, her fingers slipping through mine. "Your galaxy," she murmurs. "Our family."

And it settles around me like warmth.
Like music.

Even our pets are in sync-Yeontan curled at Jimin's feet, Wacha seated delicately in Yoongi hyung's lap, and Bam pressed against Kookie like a giant loyal beanbag.

We don't even notice the days passing.
Only that each one ends in laughter.

In warm dinners and stolen kisses and tangled limbs on the couch.

In songs hummed under breath, in edits shared across screens, in hugs that last longer than necessary.

This is love, I think.

Not the kind that shouts, but the kind that stays.

And I wouldn't trade it for galaxies.

A few days later, the afterglow of our cosmic release is still pulsing through the house like a gentle hum.

Mornings begin with Wacha's regal prance across my stomach, Bam's warm head nudging for attention, and Yeontan's little barks of delight greeting whoever's awake first.

There's a peaceful rhythm to our chaos now. A knowing harmony that everything has changed-together.

But that rippling effect from our videos? It's real.

There are emails from production houses wanting to license our soundscape.

Industry buzz about a potential cameo in a feature film.

Not to mention memes-galaxy hand twirls and "celestial summoning" are trending on TikTok as faux-magic spells.

I half expect someone to ask if I'm a literal wizard at this point. (I am not. Sorry.)

In the midst of all this, Y/N noona has been the secret stabilizer.

I find her floating around the kitchen early, pressing herbs for her tea while humming.

She leans into Yoongi hyung for forehead kisses before they head to work, whispers to Hobi hyung at breakfast, and plants butterfly kisses on Jin hyung before he zooms off to meetings.

Watching her move through our family breaks any tension I feel, like a soothing tether to home.

Which is exactly why tonight feels new.

Gab returns in a few days from his conference, carrying new blueprints for redesigning noona's home office-yes, her dream office is about to get real.

The excitement is tempered by...something.

Subtle, but I can't miss it.

The glint of possessiveness returning to my chest when I imagine Gab near Y/N noona again, or the soft narrowing of Kookie's eyes whenever Gab's name comes up.

The last time Gab walked through our door, the room shifted. Not in a bad way. Just... enough to tilt my axis a little. Like a song slightly off key-not jarring, but noticeable.

I shake it off.

We've built this house on love and trust, and no old flame or brother-from-abroad is going to shift that.
