The ski lodge library was a dream-warm, rustic, and humming with quiet energy, the scent of aged paper and cedarwood filling the air.

The gentle morning light filtered through the large windows, catching in the dust motes that floated lazily in the warmth.
Outside, snow fell in slow, delicate spirals, blanketing the world in white, muffling the sounds of the mountain.
I stretched in my chair, feeling the pleasant drowsiness that came with being wrapped in a cozy place with people who made my heart feel light.
Namjoon and Taehyung were both completely immersed in the towering bookshelves before us, their hands trailing over the spines of old, well-loved novels as if they were precious relics.
It had taken some convincing to get them out of Oppa's cabin-especially Joon, who had been hesitant to leave, as if he felt guilty for relaxing when there was so much to be done.
But I'd been persistent, arguing that Jin oppa and Yoongi deserved their own space to cook the Christmas Eve feast without the three of us hovering like restless children.
Eventually, he relented, and now, watching him scan the shelves with wide-eyed wonder, I knew it had been the right choice.
"This place is amazing," Tae breathed, his voice tinged with awe. "I feel like we stepped into another world."
"Libraries are worlds," Joon murmured, trailing his fingers across a row of old leather-bound books. "Each book holds a universe, waiting to be opened."
I smiled at that, watching the way his eyes glowed with quiet passion. I had always admired how deeply Namjoon felt things-how he could look at the simplest of objects and find poetry in them.
It was something I recognized in myself, something I saw in Tae, too.
Soulmates.
The word brushed through my mind as softly as the pages of a well-worn book.
I once didn't believed in the concept, especially as the Product Manager of the very app that reveals it, but now seeing them and jin oppa and yoongi, seeing us, feeling us?
I can't help it. Like it was just inevitable.
Not just in the romantic sense, but in the way some souls were meant to find each other, over and over again, in every lifetime.
It was just so easy to exist with them, how natural it felt, like we had been walking toward each other long before we knew it.
Joon pulled a book from the shelf, his eyes lighting up as he turned it over in his hands. "The Little Prince," he said with a fond smile.
I tilted my head. "That's your favorite, isn't it?"
His gaze flickered to me, surprised. "Yeah... how did you know?"
