The apartment feels even more intimate now.

With the three of us settled in here, the space has transformed-what once felt like just four walls now hums with a quiet warmth, as though we're part of something much bigger than this moment.

Something woven together by us, here, together.

Yeontan, happily curled up in my lap, is the perfect little distraction, a soft presence as I watch Yoongi and Tae, their quiet togetherness filling the room.

They don't speak much, but their hands, almost instinctively, find each other-reaching out, a wordless exchange of comfort, of understanding.

There's a peace between them I've come to rely on. A grounding calm that has somehow anchored me. It's the kind of connection that makes me feel secure, even when things are shifting beneath the surface.

But tonight... I know it's time.

Time to share something that's been lingering between Yoongi and me for a while now.

I glance at Yoongi. Our eyes meet, and in the stillness, I feel the weight of it settle between us.

It's time.

I take a deep breath, trying to keep my voice light. "Yes, Tae, we're not sure, but we think we've already met two of them,"

I say, the words hanging heavier than I expected. "You know the app... how we have other soulmates..."

Taehyung furrows his brow, his gaze sharpening with concern. "I do. But they're still gray, right? We're the only ones activated."

I glance at Yoongi, who's been unusually quiet, his fingers drumming an absent rhythm on his leg.

When I catch his eye, he nods, and then turns his attention to Taehyung.

"That's right," Yoongi says softly. "No one besides us has activated their profiles yet. But still... I felt it with them. Both Y/N and I, we felt it. That same pull." His voice is steady, but it carries a weight of its own.

I feel his hand reach for mine, brushing my fingers in the gentlest way.

It's small, but it steadies me, a reminder that whatever comes next, we're in this together.

Taehyung is quiet for a moment, absorbing what we've said.

His gaze flickers between us, his thoughts unreadable, until he speaks again.

"Okay... So, you guys think these two are our soulmates?" His voice is soft, thoughtful, yet there's a flicker of curiosity in his eyes, the beginnings of understanding-or perhaps confusion-flickering within him.

I nod slowly, my voice softer now. "We haven't said much yet... because we didn't want to overwhelm you. But it's time you knew, Tae. You deserve to know the whole picture."

My eyes meet Yoongi's again before I continue. "Yoongi's right, the app hasn't confirmed it yet, since no one else has activated, but... we felt that same pull with them. Even if it was brief."

The room falls into a hush, the air thick with unspoken things. Taehyung's gaze shifts between the two of us, his eyes seeking more, waiting for us to say more.

I feel Yoongi's hand squeeze mine-his small, quiet encouragement, grounding me even further.

Yoongi clears his throat, his voice gentle as it reaches Taehyung. "I know this might be a lot to take in, but..."

His eyes soften, and his gaze moves from me to Tae, a quiet understanding in them. "What Y/N, you, and I have-it's beautiful and we are so happy and content with what we have but we have also accepted our reality that... we are just the beginning."
